Black Muslim US soldier is a suspect! ("10 U.S. Soldiers Hurt In Grenade Attack")

(CBS) Ten U.S. soldiers were injured, six or seven of them seriously, in a grenade and small arms attack at Camp Pennsylvania in northern Kuwait, reports CBS News Correspondent Mark Strassmann, who is traveling with the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division.

Strassmann said the grenades were rolled into two commanders' tents at the camp. When officers ran from the tents, they were hit by small arms fire.

"From our reports it appears that a terrorist penetrated Camp Pennsylvania, one or more terrorists threw two hand grenades into a tent," said George Heath, spokesman at Fort Campbell, home base of the 101st.

Strassman said three suspects were being held for questioning, two Kuwaitis who served a translators and an American soldier described as a black Muslim.

The injured soldiers were rushed to a field hospital but military officials had no word on their conditions, Lt. Cmdr. Charles Owens said from Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar.

The military did not identify the unit of the 101st that was in the camp but said it had been in Kuwait for about one week. Most of the division has entered southern Iraq.

Separately, Strassmann reported, an Iraqi rocket fired at U.S. forces in Kuwait was destroyed by Patriot missiles launched from nearby Camp New Jersey.

The terror and missile attack came as the U.S. assault on Iraq gained steam. American and British forces besieged the southern city of Basra and pounded Baghdad with impunity. But tough fighting loomed for coalition troops as they pressed deeper into Iraq.

Husband says, "Uh oh. Sounds like somebody went nuts."

I say, "I don't know. Maybe he was a Muslim."

If the soldier has an Arabic last name, I don't see how the media can avoid telling us his name, any more than they were able to avoid talking about John Muhammad. And when preparations are made for his court martial, his name will have to come out.

Many Arabs are as "white" as any European--the late dictator of Syria for example (to judge from photographs). Bosnian Muslims and Albanian Muslims are unquestionably white. Some of the nationalities inhabiting the Caucasus Mountains are Muslim, and if they aren't Caucasians, who is?

There's a difference between a black muslim and a muslim who is black.

Peaceful Muslims I have no problem with. Let them live in peace wherever they are. Radical Muslims must be overcome and obliterated, whatever their ethnic background. "Black Muslims" to me are simply a collection of failures and criminals who share one thing in common: hatred for whites, capitalism, and US society. They should wake up or be plowed under.

Even in middle eastern nations more than double the percentage of Muslims you said believed arabs were behind 9/11. Granted, a really crappy number, but they are in the hotbed of Islamist propaganda.

If that is correct, that would still mean a majority beleieved Israel was behind the 9-11 attacks.

I was at NYU during the 9-11 attacks. I attended a Muslim forum on October 2, 2001 out of curiosity. The auditorium was filled with Muslims. The speaker asked them to raise their hands if they thought Mossad was behind the 9-11 attacks. Only several person kept their hands down, including myself.

While I believe that Islam does not believe in our United States government way of life. I don't think discharging soldiers for their religion is the correct response.
There is much truth in the practice of keeping ones enemies close.
Several thousand Malvos loose without close supervision would make a mess.
I'd rather trust the Military to ship the Muslims to Johnson Island, Cuba, Diego Garcia then let them loose in the USA and have the FBI keep track.
