Rather fascinating to be able to watch Iraqi soldiers on live TV. Looks like they've been disarmed. Split screen showing desert tank movement.

They're milling around.
To: ChicagoRepublican
Nope. They're pulling some rope/line/wire stretched across a road.
To: ChicagoRepublican
They are armed and stringing concertina across a road.

if those are kurds in charge then you'll probably see them tear those iraqis to shreds ... btw doesn't aaron brown sound like a hair stylist?
To: Diddle E. Squat
Did we capture these? If not, do they think that concertina will stop our tanks?
To: ChicagoRepublican
At that pace it looks like the Iraqi army is composed of union workers!

Look at those jokers. How undisciplined are they milling around out there pulling some wire like a bunch of construction workers, where two of them are working and one of them is holding the stop sign.

I think they're building a POW camp for themselves.

Clarke on CNN pointed out the contrast between the hard-charging Seventh Cav and the 101 and these guys: no one has a gun near the culvert, no security, hands in pockets.
No one seems very enthusiastic on the Iraqi side.

Their broadcasts are not pleasing me.
CNN sucks too by the way, but that is besides the point!

Darn. Split screen gone, back to just the desert view with the dorkball reporter. The only one who can't talk in a halfway normal manner.

CNN embed with 7 CAV announcing 16 hours ahead of schedule. Also, says Iraq fired at least half dozen missiles into Kuwait. Commanders didn't want troops sitting there in middle of desert like sitting ducks.

btw doesn't aaron brown sound like a hair stylist? LOL... I cannot stand Aaron's whiny voice! What was CNN thinking in hiring him?

Do those soldiers realize how close the camera is to them? What the hell.. must be a massive Zoom lens.

Maybe they are building a toll booth like "Blazing Saddles".
