Turks are getting their just desserts.
To: InvisibleChurch
Can you say Independent Kurdistan? Knew you could ;^)
To: InvisibleChurch
Since Turkey didn't allow us basing privileges they will have no say in how the Kurds will live in post-war Iraq. It's cost them big time.

PING!
What is going on?
Where's the parliament vote?
I thought this was approved earlier today.
To: InvisibleChurch
Wow! There is so much going on I don't know where to post!

After saddam gassed the kurds back in '88, they are going to tear the iraqis to shreds. All the more reason for the republicanguard to throw down their arms.
To: Brett66
I thought Turkey had invaded Iraq too...

That was Turkey's vote to "allow" us to use their airspace. This is us telling Turkey the train has left the station and their seat is now occupied by the Kurds.

The Kurds hate America and Americans, this may be convenient for now, but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.
I know, I know, 'Keep your friends close and your enemies.....' blah blah blah blah

Everybody is saying something.. Last I read Turkish and US militaries were coordinating the execution of the parliamentary measure and the KDP rep in Turkey came to visit the Turkish foreign milistry ME affairs bureau.
All news reporters suck.

I knew there would be a price to pay for The Turks. It has begun. After all, their actions tied up our military plans and put our troops at more risk than would have otherwise happened.
Looks like the Kurds are given their rewards. I hope Turkey learns a lesson from this, but my instinct tells me that the new Muslim controlled government will begin to oppose us. Time will tell.

Sicing them on the Turks would hardly be a reward. Can anyone validate this from an alternate source?
