We know that Free Republic is monitored at the White House.
I am asking all of you to post your good wishes and support for the Commander-in-Chief on this thread, in the hope that one of our friends on the White House staff will select the best of the best of them and put them on the President's desk in the next few days.
George W. Bush is an incredibly talented man, with great capacities. But he is human, and needs encouragement in trying times, like all of us do. This period of history is about as tryng as it gets for a leader.

I'm busy pulling together the Saturday Rally for America in Des Moines, so I won't be able to monitor this thread much today.
Let's try and keep the chitchat and the graphics to a bare minimum on this thread, please. The idea is for each one of us who wants to to send a brief message to the President.
P.S....let's keep up those prayers for him, all of our leaders, and expecially for the troops!

Mr. President,
Thank you for your fortitude in recent months. You have acted in a way that makes us all proud of you, and proud to be Americans. You have stood for what is right in the face of the hatred of many, and despite the obstruction of those who lack perspective and vision.
Please know that our prayers are with you constantly, and that we share your love and concern for our troops.
Thank you for demonstrating the true spirit of America by also caring deeply about the Iraqi people.
God speed, sir.

"We know that Free Republic is monitored at the White House."Assuming that is the case:
Dear Mr. President, I really cannot find the words to thank you for your leadership and character. I realize that, after the trash before you in the form of the Clintons, there was a really low bar, however, that is not why I am so grateful--you and those around you have proven yourselves time and time again. Far be it for me to make a suggestion, but when Iraq is liberated and things have slowed down, do get in a game of golf. Then, when rested, please get back to slapping Dasshole and the Rats silly. Lastly, do not give up on Estrada. Please. I remain, Respectfully yours, eureka!
