Prayer List of Our Troops

Several of us who have been meeting on the Yellow Rose of Texas prayer threads have been discussing the need that we have for a prayer thread devoted to our troops. Freepers can post names and pictures of their loved ones in the armed services here. We can post our prayers and best wishes for them and their families here in a central place.

We are in the beginning stages of planning the thread. Please, if you have a loved one, post his/her name or pseudonym below, along with a picture, if you wish, so that we can begin work.

Please ping your friends to this thread. We are trolling for names of our troops to pray for.

Thank you for adding Long Cut (USN) and Mrs. Cut
SK1 Thurman (USN) and her sister Trish (USMC) to our list. We hold these freepers and their loved ones in our prayers this day and in the days to come.

Father, we ask for a very special blessing for these and all freepers who are active duty military. Bless and protect these ones who have become known to us as true and loving patriots and our true brothers and sisters in the body of God on earth.

Bless their families while the nation's business calls their loved ones away to far and dangerous places. Help the little ones who have a parent or other loved one absent cope with that absence. Father, surround these military families with as many blessings and graces as your great law will allow. Let our prayers be so great and of such pure quality that each of these families is totally and completely sustained in your love and comfort. Intercede in the challenges each of these families face as they cope with the absence of their family member. Bring these precious young men and women home safe and victorious to their families as quickly as the fullness of your time allows. Amen

A lot of the names on my list came from Kayak's prayer list which is posted on the Dose nightly (A Day in the Life of President Bush ...which is posted by rintense regularly.)

Thanks Tex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trish and I have traveled numerous miles since the 15th. From Ny to Ms to here in Jax. Fl. My folks will be in Meridian, Ms as of the 19th. Her and I spent almost 36 hours on the road with about a total of 9 hrs. of sleep. Trish and I are taking care of them as a result of their debts and other things..............
