It's still hot. Hope to do another live remote when the weather is a little nicer if the Dynamic Duo is up to it!

We go through Drain on our way to Elkton every other week or so, where we have breakfast at Tomaselli's, then over to the coast up to Florence where we have double Caffè Mochas, then home via Triangle Lake.

I'll bring the lattes! I'll take three, please.
Bob, we've got to get the word out on this. It's really important and I don't want to hear ANY freeper say after the event, "Why didn't anyone tell me?"
I can bump this thread, I've also got the very powerful California and Orange County ping list. Shall I bring out the ping lists right now, or lay low and bump the thread for now?
I'm sooo excited about this.

Stop by the "Road Kill Grill" on Hwy 38 and tell Carla and Craig that Gene and Diana recommended the place. Great food and they'll treat ya right!

Please read this post. There's a Leadership Institute Seminar in April. Hope you can come (I'll drive if you want). Registration starts next week. I don't think you've ever participated in a Leadership Insitute Conference. It's a DO NOT MISS EVENT!

If Bob is making the lattes, I am. And I think you had more than three, if I recall...
I have been really sick and have not been good at bumping stuff. I think McAwful infected me with something at CPAC.

The agenda at FRiva LV was different, there were speakers, incredible speakers, there was a seminar but it was on different topics. The post up top has the agenda for this conference, ah heck, I'll just repost it here:
8:00-8:45am - The Real Nature of Politics and Politicians
8:45-9:15am - How to be an Effective Internet Activist
9:15-10:15am - Developing a Message that Works
10:15-10:30am - Break
10:30-11:15am - Public Speaking
11:15-12:15pm - Leadership Identification and Training
12:15-1:45pm - Lunch
1:45-2:30pm - Networking and Developing Contacts
2:30-3:15pm - Earned Media for Activists
3:15- 3:30pm - Break
3:30-4:15pm - Special Projects
4:15- 5:00pm - Planning and Executing an Effective Rally
5:00pm - Adjourn
These are different topics than the ones at FRiva. I'm especially interested in Planning and Executing an Effective Rally, Developing a Message that Works, The Real Nature of Politics and Politicians, ah shucks, I'm interested in all of it. I really can't wait. The Leadership Institute impressed me to no end at the FRiva conference. There are handouts, the information is easy enough for even me to understand, the people involved in the Leadership Institute are top notch. I'm marking my calendar right now!

"Stop by the "Road Kill Grill" on Hwy 38 and tell Carla and Craig that Gene and Diana recommended the place. Great food and they'll treat ya right!"Thanks ... we always laugh at the name of the place as we drive by.
It has a "Shut" sign on when we pass, I guess they don't open for breakfast. :(
