LRP World News poll "Freeped" by terrorist (Freak Alert)

Last night I was informed that our poll was attacked by terrorist. Not the kind of terrorist you hear about everyday but the kind at Free Republic.com. Freeping is a way of manipulating a poll to reflect an outcome which is not neccesarily the opinion of our visitors. The polling system was ... damaged and before I remove it I want everyone to see what happened.
Free Republic at this time has LRP World News Listed at the top of one of their web pages for a need of major freeping. In fact a quick search on google will show that there is even software available to assist with this unethical practice.
The following page at Free Republic has LRP World News listed at the top. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/search?s=FReep+poll&m=all&o=time
The original answer that received 429 votes in a MATTER OF HOURS was that Bush truly believes Iraq is a true danger. I do not know what happened but that answer was removed and all the votes where transfered to another one that was less desirable to the terrorist.
The folks a Free Republic.com have had to resort to this tactic because of the failing support for Bush. They can't accept the fact that most independent thinking people do not support a war with Iraq. Nor can they accept the freedom of opinion. LRP World News is relatively new site. We would be lucky to get 429 visitors in a day. Previous polls also reflect much lower traffic with total votes over a week being less than 100 people.
This is why I do not trust polls. This is also why LRP World News will be forced to remove the polling system in the next few days. With this type of terrorism being performed by Bush's Nazi followers their is no way a true reflection of our visitor opinions can be guaranteed

"The original answer that received 429 votes in a MATTER OF HOURS was that Bush truly believes Iraq is a true danger. I do not know what happened but that answer was removed and all the votes where transfered to another one that was less desirable to the terrorist." So let me get this straight. In a matter of hours, this idiot got more visitors - Freepers, but nevertheless visitors - than he gets in a ordinary MONTH. But contrary to his finely tuned sensibilities, they turned out to be thinkers instead of feelers, and did not choose the poll answer that he believed in.
So since this was obviously not the result that would be produced by the kind of people whose opinion he values, he transferred those disagreeable votes to a more suitable answer.
I just can't WAIT for another opportunity to learn the American mind from this kind of survey. Oh, wait. Yes I can.

LOL...they couldn't even write their own article. The author of that article herself even felt a little embarrassed when I contacted her about DU and her portryal of it as some type of mainstream Dem site.
And where's the link to FR? All this publicity to 429 leftists and they won't even link to us. What are they so afraid of? ;-)

Woah, slow down, Dentist. Don't rip my head off.I DID say it was a freak alert. I just thought other Freepers might find the article amusing.

but that answer was removed and all the votes where transfered to another one that was less desirable to the "terrorist".This is why I do not trust polls.
Any poll operator who would fraudulantly increase his site's "chosen" position in their own poll or eliminate one of the answers and add the votes to some other answer is a liar.
FReeping of polls is no different than DUmping of polls or ISLAMming of polls, all which I have seen evidence and boasting of.
This crook (the site operator, not the freeper) changed the poll results because he didn't like the way the numbers went. That is unethical. I had to go to his website to read his whining because originally I thought that he meant that someone hacked to poll to change the statements or to shift votes from one column to another.
What a loser.

Terrorist...that word is being bandied about recklessly, much like the words "Hitler", "Nazi,", "Gestapo." Such reckless and thoughtless use of words lessen the true meanings of the words, and is an isult to true victims of terrorism and Hitlerism. Freeping a poll is considered a terrorist act. Dubya is just like Hitler. It goes on and on and I, for one, grow tired of it.

From your link:
But, still -- I tried to contact at least a dozen FReepers and right-wing organizations with FReepers in them (including Free Republic.com owner Jim Robinson), and very few of them were willing to talk to me. Why is that? Were they concerned I would misrepresent their views because they feel the media has a liberal bias? Or were they worried I would ask about embarrassing incidents like Steele's and Chuy's?

I wish that the media would acknowledge that other interest groups bias online poll figures too. They are a joke and should be shown to be such.
Online petitions are equally worthless (although they do allow the user to show creativity in the bogus names and statements).

How many unique visitors does FR get daily?

Reminds me of the Jessica Lange fansite operator who had no problems with Jessica's political positions (or support for her positions) being posted on the message board and guestbook until FReepers started to challenge her positions. Then the conservative talk was removed, the site frozen, and eventually the leftist diatribes and pats on the back removed.

DU has stated to these pollsters that "freeped" means definite fraudulent manipulation of the polls. Since many FReepers simply say "freeped" and not many of them actually delete cookies and the like, it looks like a coordinated campaign to fraudulently manipulate the polls. I'd like to thank them for the compliment that we are the only ones smart enough to figure out how to do a multiple vote in an online poll but it just isn't true. There are plenty of Freepers and probably more lurkers. It is possible for everyone to vote once and still change a poll by several thousand votes in a moment. Sorry the libs are so stupid.

It is now back up, but you have to jump through hurdles to be allowed to post.
