To quote Clark Gable from his epic role in 'Gone with the Wind,' ....
'Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn ...' Martha sold out her stockholders too. How much money did they lose? How many poor schmucks put their life savings into your company and lost it all ? Cry me a river, honey. Hope you go to prison. Will Bill and Hillary visit you .... ? Not a chance in Hell ...

There must be an insurance company that sells scandal insurance. I wonder if she had a policy.

Mrs. Stewart: You are the person who tried to save $250K by breaking the rules. You took a calculated risk, and you lost. Quit whining.

I never really cared for Martha Stewart although I enjoy homemaking, cooking, decorating my home, etc. What I always disliked about Martha was her "perfectionist" and "elitist" attitude towards her version of what constitutes good taste. (Of course, Martha could well afford to get things done by hiring a bunch of "peasants" to do most of the work.) She deserves everything her greedy, limousine liberal heart got her into in the first place. Like all good friends of Hillary, she tries to blame everyone else and not take responsibility for her own criminal behavior.

$400 Million?
That's far less than trading stock legitimately would have cost.
Is there a lesson there Martha?

You should read up on Martha. She treats her employees like dirt, lies to them, stiffs them on their bills or paychecks. Treated her ex-husband and daughter like dirt.
She's a weirdo-megalomaniac. Cold as a dead fish.

she's "puzzled by the public's delight" in her troubles. She's clueless.

She should cry me a river. I'm told by a couple of people that Martha has always been a viper and Sam Waskal has always been crooked. He plagiarized that "medicine" that failed the FDA.

she's "puzzled by the public's delight" in her troubles. Taking into effect a "sell" can be placed way in advance of a sale, that truth will come out. What bothered me more were her words Republicans were out to get her..it WAS the media giving her the "image of wrong doing" not the Republicans. Rush on his show even stood up for her at the beginning to a degree...and then responded with disbelief after her remarks pointing fingers at the Repubs. That's when I thought..great PR Ms Stewart..you just lost alot of supporters..go it alone!

I'll throw in my usual rant about her. She's a former broker. She KNEW she was breaking the law. She KNOWS there is no such thing as a verbal stop order.
She isn't the only one who has lost money due to her illegal actions; so have her trusting shareholders.
I hope she winds up in a cell for a good long time. Paying a fine is not enough.

Martha Stewart estimates she has lost $400 million because of the federal investigation into her ImClone stock trade, she told The New Yorker magazine. Expect the whine to proceed like this:
"Hasn't she suffered enough? What good would indicting her do? She's already lost $400 million."
"When has America become such an unforgiving country?"

Then gets a $400M tax reduction!

Notice that Martha doesn't give a second thought to her own shareholders... She's still worth tens of millions, but we should all pity her for this massive collapse in value brought on by her stepping over the legal limits line. Typical of Clinton-fans.
