This was due to press releases, faxes and phone calls informing the media of our counterprotests of the bussed-in anti-american leftist scum which polluted the nations capital yesterday and today.

As to your question to how this country's remained free for over 200 years, it's because the good guys are defending it, another reason that the good guys are in short supply at the protests.
