"How We Must Change Our Approach and Our Language So That the Gun-Grabbing Liberals Will Hear, Understand, and Be Persuaded to Convert to Our Pro-Gun, Pro-Freedom Positions."

Assassins went on to be named Best Student Film at the Chicago International Film Festival. Following his graduation, Carner went to work as a story editor for director Tony Bill, all the while writing screenplays in his spare time. Carner's first script to make it before cameras was Seduced, a hit TV movie starring Gregory Harrison and Cybill Shepherd. He followed that with the action-adventure feature Gymkata; Let's Get Harry, with Mark Harmon, Robert Duvall and Gary Busey; and the telefilm Eyes of a Witness, starring Jennifer Grey and Daniel J. Travanti. Carner expanded into producing on the feature film Blind Fury, with Rutger Hauer. He then began realizing his lifelong dream of directing his own scripts. He began with episodes of "Midnight Caller", "Reasonable Doubts" and "The Untouchables", before moving on to such television movies as A Killer Among Friends and One Woman's Courage. Carner's list of television movies continued to expand, with such titles as Vanishing Point, starring Viggo Mortensen, and The Fixer, starring Jon Voight, both of which went on to win several awards. In July 2000, his film Who Killed Atlanta's Children? debuted on Showtime and became that network's highest rated movie of the year. Carner made a huge splash on basic cable when he wrote the TNT Western Crossfire Trail, starring Tom Selleck. He wrote, directed and executive produced the recent holiday hit Christmas Rush for TBS Superstation, starring Dean Cain and Eric Roberts, and has just finished directing Judas and Jesus, starring Johnathon Schaech, Jonathan Scarfe, Tim Matheson and Bob Gunton. I am working on the screenplay now. This film will tell the truth about Waco - I am staking my reputation and my integrity on it." Hey, we already KNOW the truth. It was on TV and everything.
You know, those evil Davidian Koreshians were trying to destroy the world, and were just about to kill us all when the ATF pulled in and stopped them. Turns out they had several meth labs, millions of heavy machineguns, a cocaine plantation, and at least fifty nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles in their basement. It's all in the affidavits the feds filed for their arrest warrant.
Then, after millions of unarmed, peace-loving ATF agents were brutally slaughtered by the ruthless Koreshians, the ATF -- which is terribly underfunded, you know -- called in the FBI. The feds tried everything possible to get the Koreshians to surrender, including shining lights on their evil military-style compound so they could find their way out in the dark, and playing soothing music to calm those hopped-up murdering freaks down.
Some of the Koreshians tried to escape, but their leader, the evil Dr. Davidian, was very clever. He had snipers stationed outside that were dressed as FBI agents, with picture IDs and everything. When some of the Koreshians would try to sneak out, his phony FBI snipers would shoot at them and make them go back in. That's how the evil Dr. Davidian kept the Koreshians from getting away.
Weeks later, and just when it seemed like the Koreshians were going to surrender, it turned out that they had secretly been working on "Plan B" to destroy the world. Stopping at nothing to achieve their evil goal, the Koreshians ran around setting fire to their children in an attempt to send them out and ignite the FBI/ATF's ammunition, but the plan backfired, and the flaming children caught the building on fire instead, killing all of the evil Koreshians and returning justice and safety unto to land.
I know this is true because I saw it all on TV. And besides, the government says so.
