Whats going on at Foxnews?
I've been watching Foxnews on and off all day as always and am noticing quite an anti-war sentiment coming from many of the guests they have had on.
It seems to me that Fox is subtly pumping anti-war rhetoric over the air waves. It isn't really coming as much from the hosts as much as the guests that they are putting on.
First we had Greg Jarret (unabashed liberal) interviewing a former U.N. Weapons Inspector about the costs of the war. He asked how long it was going to take, and started insinuating we were going to end up fighting North Korea, the terrorists, and Iraq all at the same time. Both agreed that we should just negotiate with everybody, and sing Kumbayah.
Then on John Gibson's show we had Col Hackworth who has lost his mind. Good old Hack was suggesting that we should try and negotiate with Saddam and North Korea. Only problem with that Hack is that you can't negotiate with maniacs. They're going to attempt to kill you no matter what. The question we have to ask ourselves right now is do we put our hand up to block Saddam and Kim's punch before it hits us in the face?
Then John Gibson fills in for O'Reilly and Charlie Wrangel is on suggesting that we bring back the draft. Gibson rightly suggests that Wrangel is only doing this to try and stir up more anti-war rhetoric. Wrangel doens't deny it but dances around and finally admits it.
Then we have Hannity and Colmes. Sean is off tonight and Monica Crowley is filling in for Sean. Alan seems to be getting a lot more time than Monica to shoot his mouth off.
First we get a debate between first guest Mike Reagan and Alan. Alan points out an internal White House memo that was leaked that says "The War on Terror is important in 2004"
Alan claims the Republicans are polictizing the war. Mike asks if the Democrats do any different. Mike brings up Clinton bombing the tents during the Monica Lewinsky hearings. Alan mentions the article about how Rumsfeld gave Saddam WMD in the 1980's.
Then Michele Malkin and Alan and Monica and a New York City Congressman debate the INS and borders, and Alan turns it into a conservation about Iraq and how we shouldn't be distracted. All four end up in agreement that we shouldn't be going to war overseas before the border situation is resolved.
Fox seems to be pumping that anti-war bandwagon.

Don't worry, they usually have at least one day a week for the traitor.

Do you really want to see all the guests have the same point of view? That would be pretty boring, don't you think? And besides, letting liberals spew their garbage on the air is a great way to expose the bankruptcy of their views to a mass audience. And FOX finds some unbelievably looney libs to play that role perfectly.

Al Gore then has the nerve to call Fox "right wing"
geez.

I agree I don't want to see the same point of view all day.

Seems to be more the result of the conservatives taking the day off.

That could well be the problem as well.
Cavuto,O'Reilly, and Hannity were all gone.
All three are supporters of the war.

War Supporter E.D. Hill was also off this morning...and in her place Liberal Juliet Huddy as well.

At least on Fox you get a discussion from both points of view instead of the all liberal diatribe.

I will be happy when they all get back, all charged up. Colmes is the pits. If there is such a thing as a liberal with any brains, I wish they would get one in his place. I am so tired of him, I don't know if I can keep watching.

Hackworth has been over the edge for a long time. Sad, but he no longer seems to know what day it is.

I saw Rangle on FOX today and interviewer, the guy that fills in a lot(sorry, forget his name), did a real good job with the interview. He brought out the real intent of Rangle's "lets reinstate the draft" ploy by showing it through Rangle's own words. Rangles true intent, and not his spin, is what came through.
One of the best interviews I have seen in a long time.

I agree. During the commercial I was flipping channels and Larry King had a monkey on.

I think it is good to question the motives behind all actions of the government... Fox News can put all the peacniks they want on the tube. It doesnt change the fact that support for the War is solid.

Brit is awesome but I think he too was off today. I believe Brian Wilson was in for him.
