Could you imagine if they do a 2008 election skit and a Hillary look alike is his VP!
Hillary would erupt in flames seeing that.

What do the Dem posters think was good that AL Gore did in this show? I thought the funny part was the woman in the HARDBALL skit, agreeing with everything the Chris Matthews parody said the GOP wanted.

Yeah, the DUers were probably watching Gore on the set of the Left Wing and were fantasizing what could have been... Getting all orgasmic about a Demonrat President, Congress, and Supreme Court.

This reminds me of watching the Wellstone "memorial", just when you thought it couldn't possibly get worse... it does.
Al, the #%^&&&#@ idiot, Gore is soooo over.

Supreme Court ruling on cross burning will determine the entertainment at Trent Lott's Christmas Party.

Actually the first three skits WERE funny(not counting the embarrassingly lame opening). He did a pretty good imitation of Lott's mannerisms, didn't milk the applause, and came across as a very good sport. Its funny to most Americans, no different than what goes on at DC roasts. The show went downhill fast starting with the West Wing skit, but SNL usually crashes far earlier in the show these days.
Its called humor and satire. Some people are taking this all way to seriously. (Of course I would love for some woman to leap out of the audience and give Tiny Fay a well-deserved slap across her acidic mouth, but hey, I've got my weak spots.) Notice that most of the Lott jokes are starting to bomb with the audience. Its just a TV show.

I think his "comedy" is forced. Yes, I realize that he's not a professional comedian, but it's just not that funny. I haven't even giggled once.

Yep! It sounds as if they've had enough of the Lott jokes. There was hardly even a response to the picture of the little black girl with Santa.

I really cannot understand how people can be so easily misled.

didn't milk the applause If the skits were indeed taped, then there would have been no applause to milk. Hence, the applause would be from the live audience, watching the taped skits. If I understand correctly how the taped skits are done, that is.

This is the 2nd skit where Al Gore is playing "Al Gore" the "guest on a talk show" (the Hispanic talk show skit, and now this Stewart Smally skit.) One skit was more than enough on this theme.

Jeez, if you color Tipper's hair black, she'd look just like Monica in that black outfit.
