Morris Dees, again.

I just want to know, who appointed Judge Myron Thompson. Was it Bill Clinton?

I wonder what horrible thing happened in Morris Dees' childhood to make him the hateful, spiteful person that he is, or was he just born that way?

Thanks irishtenor, for posting I do believe it was Jimmy Carter.

There is a Judge Myron Thompson resume posted at Federal judge orders Alabama chief justice to remove Ten Commandments from judicial building, post #15

I also see that Judge Thompson is a male African American, educated at Yale University (B.A. 1969), Yale Law School (J.D. 1972), has no military service on his resume and went straight from Yale Law School to be an Assistant attorney general of Alabama (1972-1974). Now how do you do that?

I wonder what are the deep connections are between Morris Dees and Judge Thompson.

Since Judge Thompson was attending Yale University when I was touring Vietnam from Phu Cat to Phu Quoc, and shows no military service on his resume, I don't like him already. I wonder if he was one of those war protestors that agreed with Jane Fonda. Judge Thompson is an instant suspect to be lumped with the usual suspects.

Judge Myron Thompson, and SPLC attorney Richard Cohen, go back to their NAACP days for both, truly an unholy alliance.

And this is the reason the liberals lost this last election. We're fed up with these kind of shenanigans coming from the left.

He's everything you list and more. Greed and self interest wrapped in a flim flam of being a "civil rights" activist. His organization raises money on trumped up findings of racism and hate, but most of the money stays in Mr. Dee's pockets.

I have a solution. Here's what the Alabama judge ought to do:

1) Leave the commandments sculpture in place.

2) Cover up the left-hand page only of the 10 Commandments. These are the ones related to God and religion.

3) The cover should say "Censored by federal judge's order!"

4) Leave the right-hand page intact.

These steps would amount to an ongoing visible protest, and a dare to the feds to order that the other Commandments (6-10) be covered. Will the judge dare oppose "Thou shalt not kill"? The debate would continue with even more (and better, for the state judge) publicity.

Thanks for the post, Corsair. Morris Dees and SPLC, by the way, have considerable influence with every major law enforcement organization in the country at both federal and state levels. The SPLC is considered to be an "objective" organization deidcated to fighting "hate" and "racism" in the USA. The story and photo presented here reveal something of the SPLC's actual agenda. The SPLC and ADL created profiling of the 'white male, militia-member, gun-owner' as the DC sniper is a major reason for the failure of law enforcement in that case - the break came thanks to the sniper's own admission to a priest. Police stopped Muhammed and Malvo 11 times without having a clue.

I could not find the number for his chambers, but here is the number for the Supreme Court itself. Let's support Moore!
