How in creation, can 150 people be "missing".
Because they didn't answer their Nextel? IMO, misleading and sensationalist.

IMO, misleading and sensationalist. I agree. Tornados dont generally disappear people.
They're "missing" until they find a phone.

Ohio was slapped around too with this storm front. Have kids outside of Columbus...they are all OK. FNC is showing damage in Van Wert, OH. Very bad. TN was hit hard too I know. Prayers for the families who lost loved ones, and all our help to those who have to rebuild. Whatever you think of the Red Cross, this is the area where they shine.

And it hit at 7:45PM on a Sunday night, not a good time for those just getting out of worship.

Prayers sent. There must not have been a tornado warning here.

They're reporting that the tornados that hit in Ohio were a category 4, with winds in excess of 200 mph.

Very strange weather out there. After a month of cold weather, it shot up into the 60s in New England. The temperature was still 60 degrees at six o'clock last night and it began to rise all night. Leaving the house this monrning, it was 69 degrees, close to a record high at 7AM!
Looks like some thunderstorms are headed our way this afternoon, though certainly not as bad as what they got down South.

Since this thread isn't going anywhere, and I don't want to post a vanity......
Are you just as shocked as I am that Tony Soprano killed Ralphie last night?
Over a horse. After warning his soldiers to lay off of him because of the tragic accident to his son.
The one show that Ralphie shows some human emotion other than a sadistic nature, and he loses his head over it. ;^)

According to the article there was a church damaged in Manchester, TN.

They are making Tony more unstable this season (IMO).
Anyway, Ralphie's days were numbered. And I liked the Horse more anyway :)

You have no idea how much you suck.
I was traveling last night, and was planning on catching The Sopranos later this week. I guess I don't need to now. 8-)

The Memphis paper says that it was an F-4 with winds of 260 miles an hour in Tennessee on the ground for more than 5 miles in spots.
Mossy Grove is just gone..

The thing is.....he wasn't going over there to kill him.
Plainly, it was self-defense.
Okay, after he smashed the back of his head on the marble floor the 12th time...perhaps it became a crime of passion.

It was my understanding that the entire town of Mossy Point is gone. If all the buildings disappeared, then it could have also taken some people with it. In 1994, we had a tornado near Memphis that deposited a desk originally in Germantown, 35 miles away in Covington. In a mountainous area like Morgan County, bodies strewn all over the place could be hard to find.

It was a great week end Sam. Wife and I did the sight seeing, wine and cheese thing in our black 01 'vette in the morning and caught Rob Bartlett's act in Boston Staurday evening. Living in Ma does have some advantages.

When I was stationed in Texas I saw a tornado "disappear" a mobile home. Picked it up clean and made it go away. Where to is anybodys guess.
