It was my understanding that the entire town of Mossy Point is gone. If all the buildings disappeared, then it could have also taken some people with it. In 1994, we had a tornado near Memphis that deposited a desk originally in Germantown, 35 miles away in Covington. In a mountainous area like Morgan County, bodies strewn all over the place could be hard to find.
