President Bush headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico today to join the prime ministers, presidents and representatives of the 21 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation nations during the APEC summit. Bush spoke to the media while he visited with Mexican President Vicente Fox, and reiterated that the US is prepared to strike Iraq on its own if the UN does not decide on a resolution. The President also addressed immigration issues by stating, "The long-term answer for the migration issue is to work in a way that encourages commerce on both sides of the border so people can find jobs here in Mexico, for starters. That's the long-term solution." Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

LOL! Yeah-I sorta think that would be the natural order! I know we will be meeting one of these days---I still hope we have a 'dose' slumber party someday! Maybe after President Bush's re-election!!! :^) Perhaps we can all go to the inauguration together-including one of the official inauguration parties. What say you! (Hubby's & male Bushstuds who participate on the 'dose' can come too!)
Katie is a freshman in college. She is on a full scholarship, on the golf team and loving her new life. She was home on fall break for the first time this past weekend and we hated to see her go back-I know about the 'hundreds of hugs' thingie. :^)

Oh well, maybe one of Barbara's or Jenna's sons! Would that be great?

Maybe I'll look into another receiver with Directv. 4 bucks is cheap! My husband (bless his heart and works so hard) is stuck on certain programming. I never really thought about it and I have a TV card in my computer to hook it up to.

That was NOT nice.

My opinion is Fox is a little miffed at Bush for not opening the borders, which I firmly believe Fox believed was going to be done as soon as Bush took office. At least that's my take on how Fox has reacted to the issue of Bush not opening the borders.
They have a long history of friendship and I think Fox presumed a bit much from it.
I believe our President accepts Fox's friendship at face value, but unlike other leaders, President Bush's friendship is not for sale.
I don't think Bush overly values Fox's opinion on whether or not we go to war with Iraq. Bush has already made up his mind what his mission is and Fox's opinion really has no bearing on it.
Please explain why you think the hand position of Fox shows he distrusts Bush?

Thanks for the Saturday dose, rintense, however I'm gonna have to wait until Sunday to read the whole thing. We just got back from a Halloween party and I am sinking fast!

Perfect, perfect, perfect!
Eric plays tennis, and will be a second semester freshman, tuition paid by the US Government, and room and board paid by academic scholarships!
As to the natural order of things......do we have to wait until the Inauguration?! Maybe we could arrange something sooner!
I would give my eyeteeth to watch George and Laura Bush dance in each other's arms, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes, though! Maybe that can be our second meeting!
(Oh, come to think of it, I don't have any eye teeth.....I got them pulled when I got my braces 40 years ago!)

Well, now......I'm planning on having our older son marry Barbara or Jenna. They're the same age, and to tell the truth, a straight laced conservative guy like our older son might be good for them! :o)
Then my grandson could marry your granddaughter!
Whadya think of that?!

Great story about Eric! CONGRATULATIONS on a job well done.
