President Bush headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico today to join the prime ministers, presidents and representatives of the 21 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation nations during the APEC summit. Bush spoke to the media while he visited with Mexican President Vicente Fox, and reiterated that the US is prepared to strike Iraq on its own if the UN does not decide on a resolution. The President also addressed immigration issues by stating, "The long-term answer for the migration issue is to work in a way that encourages commerce on both sides of the border so people can find jobs here in Mexico, for starters. That's the long-term solution." Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I think Vicente's lack of jacket and tie was an intentional disrespect to our President. I'm not liking this turkey a little bit!

Thank you, chnsmok.

He'd make a great President, IMO, but his mom doesn't want to be that worried about him!
I worry enough about President Bush, and we're not one bit related!
To: chnsmok
Yeah. I was kind of wondering about that. Only I took it as a gesture on Vincente's part to model casual dress after GW's normal dress when in the southwest.
I dunno-I think Vincente hurt GW. Our President honored Vincente and his wife as their guests at the first state dinner in the WH. And the President spoke warmly of their relationship-stemming from the days when he was gov of TX. I dunno-Vincente stance on immigration is relentless and wrongheaded and methinks our President is going to slowly tighten the noose around Fox's plans. Fox blew it. He blew being trusted by a good man.
The pics tell a story of cordial but certainly not joyful or engaged President of the United States. Our President, apparently, is too mature to play games that indicate one thing when the heart is saying another.

Oh, mountaingirl......it was a great relief to have those murders solved before we got there! We were roaming all over the areas where they happened, and knowing that they had caught the horrible men who had done this put our minds at ease.
You should have seen Eric last night! He just wandered around the house looking in all the rooms and smiling! It was priceless!

I am so thrilled to hear about your son-and LOVE seeing him again...in his uniform!!! One of these days, you and I are going to have to get together and plot a mtg between dtr and son! Hehe But don't tell Eric.....and I definitely won't tell Katie!
I know you guys are bursting with joy! Your son has already made a mark-he has modeled good academic prowess throughout his life, and he has modeled good physical prowess and most importantly-he has modeled and spoken of his Christain ethic! God Bless all of you-and Happy Birthday to your sweet 16 yr old. What an age!
Went to see Sean Hannity

I am halfway reading the article. The reporter is whining about not having access to Bush on the ranch, blah blah and does not seem to like the pres as much as a reporter wanting accessiblity should.
I am stuck with reading tonite as I accidentally cut the dish satellite wire while trimming my plants. Oh, well, many bucks later I am now getting another receiver as I can't compete with my husband and son taking over the dish satellite.

Thanks, Miss Marple.
Is you daughter home for the long term, or just temporarily?
Forgive me if you've already explained it, but I haven't been around much, so I missed it.
To: DrDeb
Thanks, DrDeb.
Eric wears his uniform proudly. I think you can tell that by the look on his face!
To: olliemb
You mean all I need to do is cut the feed and I can get my OWN receiver? Thanks! No more TNN (although I like TNN).

Congratulations ohioWfan!
You have reason to be proud of your son!
And an Honor Grad! Icing on the cake!

Oh, was Sean good?! How fun!
So, how old is Katie? And is she good enough for Eric? LOL! (Of course she is!)
I gotta tell you the girls are waiting in line, though!
Actually, I think first we should arrange a mtg between Eric and Katie's moms, don't you?!

I have a granddaughter being born in December. Is that too much of an age gap? Is she in the queue?

When I called to get it fixed I was soooo surprised to find out that the company is mighty proud of their service charge. Found out that for $4 more a month I can get another receiver and therefore watch Fox in the evenings without waiting for all to go to sleep so that I watch repeats. Well, I fell for that extra $4 deal--I am tired of being tired staying up watching Fox retreads.

Let's see........he'll be 19 pretty soon.
Do you think she can grow up real fast? LOL! I'm not real sure, but I don't think he wants to wait quite that long to get married!
Besides, by the time they'd give me grandchildren, I might just have moved on to the happy hunting ground! :o)

Thanks for the picture -- must be some good genes in that boy.
Congratulations on being first, still lurking.
Thanks for the daylight savings reminder, Mo1. I'd forgotten too, and will enjoy the extra hour.
I'm glad you're safe Mike. Did you get to see the lights from the arrest? How did you know to be up then?
As always, rintense - thanks for the Dose.
Dang it - thought the Giants had it tonight. One more chance tomorrow.
