Could be the credit card and rifle belonged to the Ft Lewis Soldier (now dead?) and are being used by the sniper. I'd certainly rather think this than that one of our own would turn on us.

The object removed was a tree stump. They're searching for shell casings. SPECULATION (by me): they're searching for a possible link to the murder weapon used by the DC area sniper.

Yes, I understand the grid, now. I'm keyboard happy tonight. Need to slow down and think. :)

Good God, this is 2 miles from where I'm sitting. My windows are huge in my office and I've recently wondered how easy it would be for a sniper to snag me. Dang!

Is their county tax appraisal info online? (assuming they have property tax like that there) You can often see owners and ownership history...

Not from handwriting, from specific errors in the English.

King5 interviewing someone now saying that she saw FBI snooping around last night at 9PM and called the cops on them this morning. So they've been there for a while.
Helicopter shot shows the back yard, broken down car and maybe a BBQ pit, or some oil drum. Said that his house has been broken into, but that's par for the course in Tacoma.

Metal detectors, usualy detect metal. Unless a body is full of metal, it would not show up.
As I am watching live now they are detecting metal and flaging it for later inspection.
As the love of my life wanted and received a metal detector so she could work the beach on Padre Island, we found a lot of pop-tops and beer cans, but no dead bodies.

Too big for a body, unless maybe it was Nadler. LOL! In election years on the Upper West Side, "Jerrold" always positioned himself at the top of the subway steps trying to shake our hands (believe me, I never let the man touch me). The only problem - well, maybe not the ONLY - was that you could barely squeeze by him to get down the stairs.
But I digress. Back to the topic, which is sure pretty stunning.

"Better to find than not" True, but still, it would be really scary if the war escalated to that extreme on American soil. And another question arises....why would the sniper be giving up this information? Is he bored or having a breakdown or second thoughts or is this part of a some larger and more devious wild goose chase. I just don't like how this is taking shape.

House is close enough to house a GI. We're only a few miles from McChord AFB and FT Lewis. A bomb here would have a series effect on the bases. I'm assuming too that McChord is providing lots of support in the war on terror.
To: agrandis
It was a natural question. You just happened to ask first.

Stolen credit card? I missed the news tonight. What's up with a stolen credit card?
