This is a Daschle comment from this morning quoted by Fred Francis of MSNBC. Daschle was commenting about how the President has not gone far enough in being conciliatory to the Democrats. Daschle is now saying that because of the lack of trust they feel, they may not pass Homeland Security or an Iraq resolution prior to going home to campaign. Your comments are welcome. Hopefully, you will all fight back. This comment was particularly beyond the pale, don't you think? This is war, folks. Our President is being savaged and undermined during a time of war. They are now also asking the question, "Are you better off than you were two years ago?" This garbage must not stand!

A Little Irish Humor
Father O'Malley rose from his bed. It was a fine spring day in his new Washington DC parish. He walked to the window of his bedroom to get a deep breath of the beautiful day outside.
He then noticed there was a jackass lying dead in the middle of
his front lawn. He promptly called the US Senate for assistance.
The conversation went like this:
"Good morning. This is Senator Daschle. How might I help you?"
"And the best of the day te yerself. This is Father O'Malley at
St.Brigid's. There's a jackass lying dead in me front lawn.
Would ye be so kind as to send a couple o' yer lads to take care of
the matter?"
Senator Daschle, considering himself to be quite a wit, replied
with a smirk, "Well now father, it was always my impression that
you people took care of last rites!"
There was dead silence on the line for a long moment.
Father O'Malley then replied: "Aye, that's certainly true, but
we are also obliged to notify the next of kin.

,i>she couldn't get Fox News .. with a satellite we solved that problem
We had been badgering our town's Cable company for over 5 years to get FoxNews. Earlier this year, we had decided to get a dish, when one day Sir SuziQ came downstairs and said we now had FoxNews on our cable. They just snuck it in and never made an announcement. So we never bothered with the dish.
It is so nice to be able to watch the news without the irrestible urge to throw something at the TV!

He also said that the Republicans were filibustering and holding up a vote on the bill. This imposter of a human being, so called public servant, is doing the very things that he is accusing Republicans of doing and no one has called him on it yet.
At a press conference this morning, not one person from the media would ask him specifically who among Republicans was filibustering.

If Daschle doesn't pass these resolutions, it will hurt him even more than if passes them. I guess I hope NOTHING gets done in the Senate before election day.

Daschle is now saying that because of the lack of trust they feel, they may not pass Homeland Security or an Iraq resolution prior to going home to campaign. I was wondering why he pitched that fit. The Rats didn't want to vote so they fake hurt feelings for an excuse. How lame.

Fox News Opinion Poll conducted Sept. 24 and 25.....public approval for war on Iraq has dropped 8 points in less than a week....Tony Snow said it is unclear whether algore's or dassholes speech played a part in the significant drop.

It's especially important for freepers who live in states with Rat senators to put the heat on them.
That's the part that sucks about living in Texas and southwest Houston to boot. My Senators are already pubbies (and I expect will stay that way) and my representative is little Kent Bentsen who thought he could become a senator and wound up a lame duck in his congressional seat.

Here in Fla neither senator is up for reelection. Both dems, but both keeping their distance from little tommy. I'll b busy trying to throw out our supreme court justices.

HA! I got a reply saying "We're not IN S.D., We're in California, check out these specials!"
To: aristeides
That would be a hoot and surely piss off little tommy. If you think he is having conniptions now cna you see if the pres. made the senate come back into session?
By the way, we may be having a shutdown of the govt. by then if the senate doesn't get going on budget bills. Blame that on the senate leadership of little tommy too.
To: Joe Boucher
MSNBC is reporting that Dems are serious about delaying vote until after elections.
Won't work. House will act and force the Senate to put up or shut up.

The RATS are having a real bad week, and it looks like it isn't going to get any better. These last wild eyed statements from the RAT "leadership" (i.e. lil' Albert & Tommie du Hole) are so insane and so hypocritical that Arnold Zipple (Green Achers fame) could see right through them both.
HRC is keeping her head down and so is lil Dick Gepfart. Teddy is chasing skirt and slopping down Scotch, and generally keeping his fat face out from in front of a camera. This fact leads me to believe that the worst of the commie left in among the RATS wouldn't touch this with a 10' pole. The lefties have lost it!
If this "battle plan" of the RATS is contrived, it looks like they've been taking plays right out of the Little Big Horn book of engagment. I should imagine that their internal polling is a disappointing mass of numbers. Ba Wa Wa Waaaaa!
If I was the Pres. I'd look at Tommie du Hole and, with a heavy New York accent, say....."Hey Tommie, I got you're appology RIGHT HERE"!!!!!

He can complain all her wants. The democrats have NOTHIING to campaign on- NOTHING! President Bush signed every piece of legislation put on his desk by the Senate! And now, when it matters most to the security of the United States, Tom Daschle has decided to play partisan politcs at the expense of the security of Americans.
YOU MAKE ME SICK, TOM DASCHLE!
