Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio

Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.
He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.
I have a tendency to agree...

That doesn't mean I don't like or appreciate any of them (I would never choose a new dad) but means that we aren't clones. It goes back to the old saying, that if two people never disagree, one of them isn't necessary.
Expecting anyone in the world......spouse, parent, child, friend, or President, to live up to your every expectation or whim, is childish.

Thanks for the heads up!

How can he claim to respect people for thinking for themselves and then whine when someone criticizes him here? That's what I thought at first too, but that's not the issue. Hannity is peeved because the conservatives who might dare to question or be critical of a GOP policy are routinely attacked here. It was not a cry baby plea resulting from attacks on him personally. It was a gripe about the Bushbots.

"A majority held in restraint by constitutional checks and limitations, and always changing easily with deliberate changes of popular opinions and sentiments, is the only true sovereign of a free people. Whoever rejects it does of necessity fly to anarchy or to despotism. Unanimity is impossible. The rule of a minority, as a permanent arrangement, is wholly inadmissible; so that, rejecting the majority principle, anarchy or despotism in some form is all that is left."

"Conservatives were better off with Clinton in the WH. Clinton had the brains and the stones to use his veto power whenever Newtie, Bobdole, and other Repukes in Congress served up pieces of trash like the Farm Bill"
Have the Clintons brought back the silverwear yet?

Have the Clintons brought back the silverwear yet?Are they still donating their soiled underwear to the homeless, you know, to get the tax deduction?
I bet the thought of Hillary bundling up her used girdles and bloomers to be donated to some homeless transvestite brings tears to MurryMom's eyes.

It was a gripe about the Bushbots. Is that so. Could it also be that some of those "conservatives" are just garden variety jerks that are at a loss when the lesser folks don't lap up their every word like nectar from the Gods?

Sean's more likely complaining about the Bushbots who have a cow when anyone disagrees with W. There are some real ninnies here who would lynch anyone, no matter their credentials, who spoke out against any of Bush's liberal policies.

A few weeks ago a caller to Hannity's radio show complained because many other callers were attacking her after she had talked on the air. (I don't remember the details of her call.)
She asked Sean why he didn't screen the calls, so that not only attack calls were aired.
He said his program did not screen callers. He said his show's goal was to let people speak their minds, even if it meant they attacked other people.
(Hypocrisy here?)

Just my opinion of course. One of the differences between us is that I accept the fact that my opinions and statements might sometimes be wrong.

You know me well. I have a very good memory; however, I do seem to have some sort of a " black hole ", where it concerns candidate Bush claiming that he was going to " make government smaller ". Can you help me out here ?
It would appear, to me, at least, that so many FREEPERS " heard " candidate Bush saying so very many things, which I am certain, that he NEVER once uttered. How can this be ?

How can this be ?
Selective recollection, selective hearing, and, if you repeat a lie often enough, it is perceived as truth.

It is the difference between listening sober and listening blind drunk. I posted the following analogy a while back that pretty much sums up my feelings about the betrayed Bush voters
Many around here remind me of my dad. He would get car fever and start shopping. He would spend weeks going from dealer to dealer test driving, horse trading and then he would settle on a price, a model and the color. He would buy the car and proudly drive it home. That was the last proud moment he would have with any car he ever bought. No sooner than the paper came he would be looking at the ads and find the same car, the same model and the same color was being advertised at less than he paid. That would then send him into a buyers remorse so strong as to make his enjoyment of that car impossible. He would cuss that the gas mileage was not what he thought it should be. He would rave on about the cheap interior and how he was duped into buying the damned thing to begin with. In other words, the ONLY thing my dad ever enjoyed about a new car was the search and the drive home from the dealership.

It was not a cry baby plea resulting from attacks on him personally.Did you hear his comments on the air? He specifically referred the fact that freepers have attacked him.
