Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio
| Sean Hannity
Posted on 08/02/2002 2:40:49 PM PDT by jbstrick
Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.
He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.
I have a tendency to agree...

I don't know that either. Can we start an investigative thread here to see if that is true?

He probably just doesn't understand the Internet. It's not like broadcast or radio where the host gets to control everything that gets "on air."
I thought Sean's comments were pretty callow, actually. Does he think he's beyond criticism? Is servile agreement with him more important that having a robust debate of conservative ideas and ideals? Of course not!
Nevertheless, I hope Jim puts in a call to him to try to smooth things over. FR needs the support of people like Hannity.

....the climate sure has changed around here during the past few monthsHmmmm....seems I read that comment about 2,3 times a year for the last four years now....

I think Sean meant people attacking other people here in general.

The RINOs have to go before the Dems the Republican party is not what it was during the days of Calvin Coolidge the opponent of Wilsonian socialism. You'll just replace one group of socialist with another. Not many Republicans voted against the farm bill for instance. Nobody( except for Ron Paul and formerly Trafficant) talks about abolishing the income tax. Has Bush ever vetoes anything?

I know he says the Libertarians are crazy and there are a few here. That could be where the anti-conservative stuff is coming from. Maybe!
