Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio

Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.
He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.
I have a tendency to agree...

Sounds to me like he meant attacking fellow conservatives, not him.

I'll call the whaaaaambulance for Sean.
The only thing different about this board now, as opposed to early 1998, is the format, and the number of posters.
Flaming is nothing new.

Hannity's right. The usual suspects end up, most of the time, just piling on top of each other, one-upping themselves over who can be the best "patriot," or strictest "conservative."
I've actually been baited lately because the Bush-bashing threads are so damn boring.

Most of the crap Sean is referring to comes from disrupters who want to make happen what just happened.

The thing is there are not many conservatives who claim tro be liberals but there are a lot of liberals who claim (and probably think they are) conservatives.

Only two or three times a year?! Sometimes I think I see it every week. And of course, they're right, the world is not a static place, things do change. There's a clear ebb and flow to FR, seems to match the ebb and flow of the outside world though. IMHO reality as a whole becomes less civil in the summer, it's the heat; so things are a bit viscious around here lately, it's summer. But as temperatures drop things will get better, that's how life works.

Absolutely right!! It's the damn RATS that come in here and disrupt things!

When has Sean been attacked here? That's what I was wondering. I don't remember seeing him attacked here. And I'm on this board a lot when his radio show is on.

What B.S. Hannity is pretty self-righteous about his smug brand of conservatism - he bashes Republicans and conservatives all the time.

To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives. Please convert to English, does not compute.
But by all means, Sean, the conservative hegemony must be preserved. Just like your stupid WoD.
And, Free Republic has never been about anything but free debate which Hannity should LOVE.

Gracious, I should think FR a model of decorum and politesse. And anyone who doesn't agree with that is a knuckledragging Nazi.
To: jbstrick
Aw, Sean, quit being such a sissy. There is no way you get attacked as much as, say, Rush. Maybe you're jealous?

Hmmmm....seems I read that comment about 2,3 times a year for the last four years now....Used to have to walk five miles through the snow to get here.
Uphill.
both directions!

Ooh ooh, me me! I'll attack him! Hannity's show is lame, uninteresting and bland. He and his callers exhibit no depth on any topic. Who wants to hear 3 hours of Bush/Republican cheerleading every day?
If you want interesting talk radio try Baltimore talk show host and true conservative Ron Smith.
