I've actually been baited lately because the Bush-bashing threads are so damn boring.
They are the paleo/populist/radical-libertatian, antiwar, antistate, John-Bircher zealots who have more in common with anti-globalization anarchists and eco-terrorists than with authentic conservatives.
The drums to which they march are pounded by the likes of Pat Buchanan, Lyndon La Rouche and Alan Keyes.
These are the people who are making a pig's breakfast out of Free Republic with their hysterical anti-GOP rantings.
Oh yeah, sinks??? WELL...........I'M more conpatrioti..........um.........er............patriervati.............ummm...............well, you know!!!! Than you are!!!!!! And.........and..........and I've read Atlas Shrugged 50 times, twice on the john! Top THAT!!!! Load my own ammo, sew my own flags (Stars & Stripes AND Stars & Bars), own more camouflage, have more gun-like things, and can hurl a tomahawk accurately up to 75 yards on a humid day! I can swear at Clinton for an hour without repeating an adjective, and I can pick apart Bush's Lord's Prayer as well as you can pick apart a Daschle press conference.
Ya see???? I AM (thumping chest) a much, MUCH humbler, salt-of-the-earth kinda patriconser........um..........well, you know!
Bush has deserved the criticism he has received. Major conservative voices have agreed. The challenge is to criticize to help, rather hurt, the conservative cause. No man should be above criticism, imo. You can differ with me all you want on Bush. I'm glad he still has loyal supporters. He lost my trust, but I know I'll probably have to vote for him again. It's probably more helpful to him if you bushbots try to keep people like me at least THAT MUCH on your side.
