Watch and pray. The rescuers are optimistic that they will reach the cavity where the miners are located by midnight, perhaps as soon as 10pm et.
They just reported that several PA miners were caught in a similar situation thirty years ago AND WERE RESCUED ALIVE AFTER A WEEK IN THE HOLE.

Thank you! This is great!
Just about the time you get the photos posted for the previous miner, the next man surfaces!
Two-thirds done . . . hopefully the next three will go just as smoothly (including the big fella.)

The Idaho incident you are referring to was a fire, not a collapse. 91 miners died of smoke inhalation (the fire was at the worst possible point -- right near one of the ventilation shafts -- so the giant fans used to ventilate the mine actually pushed the smoke all the way through the mine). There were two guys who survived for more than a week in a remote corner of the mine before they were rescued.
I did some on-line research and found a photo of those two guys:

I think I've seen him get more out of a few people tonight than I saw CNN's reporter get out of the same people.Have you also noticed how Geraldo and Fox were (and still are) getting EVERYONE first? The governor, all the officials, all the heads of the rescue teams, they all went straight to Fox's camera, and then when Geraldo and (Rick Leventhal? I forget who the other guy is) were done with them, you'd see poor Jeff Flock from CNN step into the back of the frame and grab them so at least he could have them second. And of course, poor pathetic MSNBC was stuck out in the parking lot or something, getting everyone dead last.
I wonder why all these people are so Fox-loyal. Hmmm....

Almost as many churches as bars. Well, would you need a place to repent if you didn't have a place to sin...?
Both do a brisk business...

Yep, you definitely are in the Johnstown area!
That's the exact answer all the Altoona and Johnstown crews would give when I asked about that.

Amen..., I'll drink to that! :o)

Part of the hostility is due to the fact that Geraldo has a history of making himself the story
Yeah, I just heard Geraldo give one of the best talks on everybody working together to save these miners lives.
