Are you saying white people, in general, today are as connected to slave-holders from over 100 years ago as a number of Islamic terrorist apologists giving money on the same day as a terrorist attack to a woman who refuses to back our defense of terrorism are connected to the terrorists themselves? Is that the same logic that lets you blame Enron for the California budget deficit, not the fact that spending increased 36% in two years? Okay, I see what you're referring to:

Being that Mr. Fareed is a pilot of 20 years in his sixties, it's entirely possible he has a son who happens to be a physician. Notice they're distinguished here by the middle intial "A" (there's the letter again). That's certainly a more realistic scenario than any that suggest that this website is just "making things up".

I'll look into it and see if that's the case.

Not uncommon with Arabic names. For example, here are the names of the 19 Sept. 11 hijackers;

This certainly occurred to me. But I thought there were a reasonable number of Arabic sounding names on the second half of the list. Looking at data is something I'm trained to do, and despite the fact you point out I still question the prima facia validity of the data.

I said: I just checked every one of the 9/11/2001 donors and none of them gave to anyone else on that day.

And you replied: Which is precisely why the focus is on Cynthia McKinney.

Again the data doesn't pass my smell test. Looking over all the supposed 9/11 contributors, I see donations at other times to other Congressmen. It doesn't make any sense that all of these people would donate only to McKinney on 9/11. Why not some others of their "friends" also on 9/11?

The data is a matter of public record, easily verifiable through Federal Election Commission records.

I'm not questioning in whether the FEC has this data. I'm questioning the validity of the data. There is a difference. It could have been altered by someone for reasons I cannot presently guess.

Atif Fareed, the Southwest Airlines pilot, appears only once on this list.

Maybe you misunderstood what I was writing about?

I'm sure you know, when you make a charge such as "the data has been manipulated", you're employing an age-old leftist tactic: question the source and force the messenger to disprove a baseless charge. Any piece of information can be dismissed this way. The least you can do is provide one example of opensecrets.org or the F.E.C. intentionally manipulating data.

I can certainly imagine CAIR and/or allied organizations deciding on the spur of the moment, after 9/11 happened, to ensure the loyalty of at least one member of Congress and asking as many people as possible to donate to that one member. It's not inconceivable.

That Farid/Qazi business is sure an odd coincidence. But I see the Qazi did not claim to be a pilot, only to be employed by Southwest Airlines. Do airlines not employ any M.D.'s?

Can we be sure that the claims of the two to be pilots and/or employees of Southwest Airlines are correct, or, for that matter, that their claims to be doctors are correct? Didn't Atta claim one of his last nights to be a pilot for American Airlines? Couldn't a donor also lie about his job?

There's all sorts of disinformation out there. E.g. There were all sorts of wild things repeated about Vince Foster, that he was a Mosaad agent, that he was involved in some sort of intrigue with nefarious companies. The people who repeated this nonsense also said some things that were true but it all got discredited along with the nonsense. (Find out sometime why Rush mostly stopped talking about Foster. It isn't because he doesn't suspect foul play.) And if you believe Vince Foster committed suicide, I have a bridge you might be interested in buying.

You may call my charges, if that's what they are, "baseless." I think I have provided some basis for them. And I also provided a point-by-point answer to your previous criticism of what I wrote.Why don't we let the Peanut Gallery decide?

BTW, my degrees are in Math, and I scored really high on my Math SAT, before they dumbed down the scores for you younger folk. Do you have credentials and experience, or just feelings?

I never claimed that the FEC was "intentionally manipulating data." They report what is given to them, and then are subject like anyone else to neerdowells who might alter the data once they are in place.
