If I wasn't booked on June 1st with MCRGO's annual meeting (with Wayne LaPierre as speaker), I'd consider taking a trip out there to spy on them and report everything here.

These jerks need to be infiltrated, spied on, and sabatoged(legally).

I wonder if Pat Buchanan's gay friend Justin Raimondo (Mr. Anti-War.com himself) will be there.

I know the NYPD and FDNY are professionals and will do their job, but can you imagine how galling it's going to be to provide protection for these "peace at any cost" nitwits shouting slogans about appeasing terrorists when a lot of them lost buddies, relatives and co-workers in WTC?

They may have the right to free speech, but fortunately they do not have the right to determine foreign policy. These are the same idiots who fell in line with Roosevelt (FDR), including Lindhburg, trying to keep us out of the war in Europe. To the point of weakening the U.S., even further to the point of allowing the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor.

This expanded into failure in dealing with the Big Three at Ontario, Quebec, Yalta, and Tehran. In this case Might makes Right.

Bwahahahahhahahahh. The ones I met are left wing whackos.

There was even a "Lyndon LaRouche" for President table at the last rally I was at.

Um, these guys are. Go here and check it out before you accuse us of bashing "anti-war types". These are anti-sanity types.

You might also want to check out Ramsey Clark. Don't bother telling me he was AG for two years, that's part of the problem.

"Islam is the best chance the poor of the planet have for any hope of decency in their lives. It is the one revolutionary force that cares about humanity." [1998]
Former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark.

With those kinds of ideas, Clark and his minions are SUPREMELY UNQUALIFIED to critique US foreign policy, especially after Sept. 11th!

Clark and the IAC have been active in opposing the war against Yugoslavia in 1999, so not everything he has done is bad. However, even back then he was pushing the cockamamie theory that the goal of "US" (New World Order, really) foreign policy was to stimulate conflict between muslims and Slavs, in order to knock these two "enemies" out.

However, as every knowledgeable Serb and more and more Americans know, the real problem has been the NWO using muslim thugs to do its dirty work!!!! But the muslims have their own plans for world domination, so now The Rest of Us (including Christian Slavs and Americans, Israel and the Jewish people, Hindu India, and many others) are caught between our two enemies, the NWO and islam.

Expansionist/supremacist islam, if unchecked, will send "the poor of the planet", and everyone else, on a ONE-WAY TRIP, first to hell on earth, and then to Hell itself!!! It is the risen Christ who is the TRUE hope of the world, NOT islam!!!!

Have to agree with 'pod. The rally in DC was a combination of extreme commies + islamofascists. Anti-War my behind! They just want us to roll over and become a nice communist islamic dictatorship! What I found most disturbing was all the women that you KNOW would be at every pro choice rally sponsored, wearing the arafat headgear. Are they insane? There's no 'choice' of anything in these countries for women, much less reproductive choice. What's up with that? Schizo morons!

Does anyone know what FIT stands for? Is it the Fashion Institute or something? If so a student there probably booked the rooms for free. The International Socialist Convention was held at my school a couple of months ago. A student booked some rooms in our building for free and then we had hundreds of people completely trash our building. Perhaps we should alert FIT to this convention if it is indeed a college.

Fashion Institute of Technology. This same crowd had a rally at FIT before the World Economic Forum back in February, so I'm sure they know what type of organization it is and either don't care or don't care to do anything about it.

The problem is that the school does not know exactly how many people will be there. Here, the student books a room for 100 people, then 500 show up and if nobody complains, nothing is done about it. I have had to call the campus cops a number of times because they roam out into the hallways, try to break into our labs, once they had a sit in outside my lab and they wouldn't let me out! Once the cops find out that there are more than 100 people they kick everyone out. All the school knows is that a room is booked for 100 people, so only 100 people should be in that room.

These organizations get these places for free and then they proceed to trash the place with no respect for the people who use the building. I would have no problem if they rented the buildings - at least our cleaning crew would get paid to clean up their mess.

Does anyone know someone at FIT?

FWIW, F.I.T. is the Fashion Institute of Technology, a public vocational high school for the garment trade. It is located in the garment district.

I don't know why that's a particularly "good" place to have an anti-war rally. Maybe they got tired of being heckled so much in Union Square.

I think they have a rather large auditorium, that must be the attraction. It wasn't a rally they held so much as a pep rally with all sorts of speakers. Al Sharpton was supposed to be one of them, I don't know if he showed or not (even Al would find these people extreme).
