This is supposed to be a no frills news forum. I don't have time to click on every link and wonder what is going to pop up and when it does, is it what I was looking for.

Why is it that when I click something, I get a banner at the top of the page from some poster I don't know commenting on some subject I could care less about?

What's with the question in the sidebar? If you want to ask a question about SCOTUS throwing CFR in the dumpster, start a "FReep this poll" in vanities.

I'm not a whiner and very rarely post although I do get all my news here. I don't like this new layout for various reasons. I donate monthly to this forum and feel I have a right to express my opinion! If that opinion differs from yours, that does not make me a "whiner".

The right Breaking Box is strange. It shows 5 entries; then a "more"; then blank space. I paged down 60 full screens of blank -- and that was only half of the way through the topics in the middle column.

Why have to click "more" when all that blank space is available on the page?

Page loading takes 2-3 times longer than the old format.

The main reason FR is/was so great is because all the other forums you have to choose from out there look & work just like this one does now.

You are right Joanie. Ain't nobody nowhere nohow knows what John Robinson knows noway. This guy is a superstar. Real life, clock ticking, could be software could be network could be hardware expertise and trouble shooting acumen. Oh, some guys are starting up their cars in closed garages during the shutdown. Typical production pressure. I wish he'd contact me with the names of the garage guys, there's not always a need to rush ...
