Everyone has their own hobbies and interests. Besides, the coffin stuff and everything is done in good humor.

What a copy-cat. This already has been done -- just check out the new "library" in Little Rock....

Maybe she can get John Kerry to move in:

Herman Munster smiled a lot. Kerry almost never does -- at least, not in any pictures I've ever seen.

It's good that Waxahachie has something like this to take pride in, after the cancellation of the supercollider.

Yep! Now if they could just find a way to move Waco a little farther away..................

I used to live in Waxahachie, and personally, I was happy they canceled the Supercollider. I was sorry for all the people who lost jobs and the money loss to the community, but it threatened to result in a huge influx of people and urban sprawl that would've ruined the town's charm and character. Waxahachie has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes in Texas, and the June Gingerbread Trail tour is one of the state's most popular home tours (we restored a home there and were on it once ourselves). The growth that was accompanying the building of the SSC threatened to turn the whole town into a big strip mall.

I do hope that if someone is putting in a replica of the Munsters' house, that they paint it and fix it up so it looks like that house would have when it was built, not like it did on TV with the peeling paint and overgrown bushes. Believe me, there are enough old houses around here in that condition already.

Ms. McKee, who watches The Munsters every day and has memorized the dialogue...

Scary.

If this doesn't stop the waves upon waves of illegal Mexican immigrants, then nothing will!

Only in Texas!!! ;^D

Scary.

Grandpa Munster: Hmm. What smells so good?
Herman Munster: I cut myself shaving.

Gingerbread trails aside, the cancellation of the SSC devastated U.S. high energy physics. The frontier of science is in the process of being moved to Europe.

Beyond the goring of my ox, moreover, I've never been sympathetic to anti-sprawl sentiments.
