Just by the way Cachelot, if this 'irresponsible' 'belligerent' etc etc agent was pulled off the plane, where's all the eyewitnesses, from amongst the passengers, who should have come forward by now, to tell their story? 'I Saw Belligerent Agent Abusing Pilot!', and all that?

This puts it in perspective. I bet even the seatmate who said the pilot was being discrimatory would be out of his seat in a flash.
I've probably posted 30 reponses on this issue over the last few days. I've addressed just about every issue that has come up, but I have yet to see you make a single rational and valid point. Listening to you go on about what is *really* happening behind the scenes and what is *really* going to happen later on is just laughable.
You come across as a one-dimensional characterization of a raving liberal.
Seems to me you're more concerned with "racial profiling" than with airline security. The angry Arab SS agent was apparently reading an anti-Christian book for Muslims. Seems to me this guy has an agenda, and so do you.
"Ladies and gentlemen, before we depart I would like to make the following announcement. We have a passenger in this terminal who is carrying a gun. He says that he’s a Secret Service Agent. He has tried three times to submit the paperwork that would authorize him to board this flight with a loaded firearm. Each time he has filled out the paperwork incorrectly. He appears to me to be nervous and anxious. I believe he has been acting in a belligerent manner. I just kicked him off because of this but of course let him keep his automatic machine pistol."
Wait a minute the terminal just emptied.
I will never feel safe again with Pilots allowing armed terroist to roam the terminals.
Right so let's kick him off the plane but let him keep his gun.

If he never let him board what was his coat, book and other property doing at his seat? And how could the flight attendent riffle through his possessions after he had been ordered off the plane while they confirmed his identity.
The Agent boarded two AA flights that day at BWI with a loaded gun. On the first flight, the captain warmly received him. When that flight developed mechanical trouble, the Agent was tranferred to the second AA flight two gates over. They knew he was armed SS before he arrived at the plane. After he was seated, he went to the captain to present his credentials and then the Captain seeing he was of Arab descent went ballistic and asked AA headquarters for pictures of all known terrorists. Never did bother to call the White House to confirm the agents Identity. The Airline finally did so, soon after the plane left. From the point they placed the call until his identity was confirmed was five minutes. The total time the Captain spent on the ground screwing around with asking for the agents photo ID five times and having him fill out AA form three times was 75 minutes. Im not saying he didnt have reason to be concerned but he did not do anything a prudent and reasonable pilot would do to establish the agents identity.
Yeah, I saw 'em. Mindless white noise, the whole thirty.
I think I'm speaking for the rest of FR when I say, 'see if you can say something intelligent, in the next one.'
