Reading all these articles and hearing all these pundits talk about Johnny Bin Walker as being treasonous and being the lowest thing on earth has made me wonder.
First, how can it be treason when he is no longer a citizen. Second, although I think the guy should be killed, he gets more respect from me for having the guts to go over their and live up to his anti-American sentiments, than do these cowardly America haters over here that still enjoy the benefits of being an American citizen.
How many times have we told these creeps that if they were serious they would go over and take up arms with the Taliban. Well, that is exactly what Johnny did.
I saw a recent thread comparing Johnny to Benedict Arnold. I don't see a similarity. Benidict was just looking out for his own @$$ and did so in a deceitful way. Johnny came right out and went to Afghanistan and openly fought with the side he felt was right.
You got guts Johnny, and you did stand up for your beliefs, so I respect ya. But then, I would be glad to be the one to put the bullet into your head, because you are on the wrong side.
He gave us his citizenship when he picked up a gun over there. He should never be allowed to enter the US again.
A million southerners did that and got a free ride. Why shouldn't he follow the precedent and heritage of that?
Looking at a WWII analogy, he certainly deserves a bullet more than Eddie Slovik, who merely went in the other direction when duty called.
Not sure I agree with your finding any merit in this rotting-brained youth. But I can see your point. Again looking at WWII, I have listened to recordings of Lord Haw Haw, who was a British citizen who self-renounced his citizenship and broadcast for Radio Hamburg. I must say I have enjoyed his broadcasts very much. I must also say that had I been there that day in 1946 when the Brits squeezed the last sound out of his throat, I would have cheered and would have fought the hangman for the right to pull the rope.
He wasn't a terrorist, he was a soldier who chose to die like with the rest of the Taliban, rather than shave his beard, use his citizenship to return to America, and then turn himself into a suicide bomb.
Course not!!! They just kick the most @$$!!!!! Ask Patton!
I find Johnny Jihad to be a totally despicable character and see nothing admirable in him. I can see how you would, though, with your tendencies. Sad.
One thing I think would be a appropriate would be to have the letter "T" tattooed on their forehead and any woman they encounter in public is allowed to hit them a few times with a stick. If they relatiate against the woman, they should face immediate execution.
The normal inclination would be to condemn him as a traitor but that is morally wrong. Walker is a POW in our war against terrorism. How many of the soldiers of our enemies have subsequently become US citizens I wonder? Were members of the Japanese or German military forbidden to immigrate here? Were they executed for killing Allied troops? No, they weren't. Perhaps Walker should get special treatment in that he should never be allowed to come to the US again. That would be a fitting punishment for renouncing his citizenship. That and regular beatings by Afghani women.
