Bush insn't a freeper per se, but I bet some of his staff read this board. He does know about Free Republic. He was made very aware of it in Austin during the election mess.

I think there are a number of places where he could have heard that phrase used in the context of the doomed flight.

Who was the Clown on ABC who quoted President Bush "My fellow Americans, Let Us Roll."
I was flicking through the channels and caught that, I don't know if it was Jennings or Brown Cow, how to you tell the two apart?

I enjoyed nearly all of the President's speech, especially his tribute to Mr. Beam.
What continues to upset many Christians is that he is maintaining the lie that Muslims are good, decent, peace loving people who worship God as we do, and calls them "people of faith."

I know he's not a Christian, but is a Methodist, but certainly he knows there is only one God and His name is Jesus Christ, not Allah.
God has no Fornicating-Psychotic-Prophet named Mohammad. And there is only one Word of God, and it's the Bible, not the man made Koran.
Certainly he must know these things, yet he continues the lies. Why?
Is he afraid of offending other Mid-East evil doers in which he wants America to continue to purchase oil from?
From what I understand, we are able to produce our own.

I don't know if our wonderful President Bush is a FReeper. I doubt he has time.

But I do hope some of what goes on here at FR is reported to him. (Fantasy: Job with his administration - reading Free Republic and reporting to the President and First Lady the BEST of what is here).......

Anyway - I do thank whoever may be hearing what we have been saying - several of us:

I have said over and over - PUT US IN COACH - WE ARE READY TO GET TO WORK FOR OUR COUNTRY!

(More specifically - I was talking about the Bush administration putting us to work in his agencies to see that the leftover Clintonistas behave and do what they are supposed to be doing - instead of working to sabotage all he is leading our government to do and to accomplish).

But I was also speaking several times about reviving the old Civil Defense plans / efforts that I lived throuh in the in the 1960's.

He has heard these pleas - (from many, I am sure) - and has a task force at work to find and implement ways for all Americans to help in "homeland defense". Let's roll - can also be used to command all of us - our businesses and industry - also to get to work for America - for the war effort, for the efforts against the terrorists - things that this administration has been working on behind the scenes.

Just as marvelous diplomacy has brought in the nations of Italy, France, Germany, Turkey, Japan, and others to come to our side and fight the terrorists.....so I hope and pray President Bush's words will be heeded and even exceeded by every American as we work together ACTIVELY on behalf of our great nation.

I certainly voted for him and I was elated when he won- both during the early morning hours of Nov. 8 when he was declared the winner and when he defeated Al Gore's lawyers some weeks later. But never in my wildest dreams did I believe he would develop into the leader of incredible stature he has become. I have never respected an American President in my lifetime (age 45) to this extent, and yes, that includes our beloved RR. What a great, touching, dramatic and wonderful ending---LET'S ROLL!!!!
