The settlement allows both sides to walk away from the controversy without admitting defeat, according to the Sun Sentinel newspaper. The South Florida Council will have its legal expenses paid, and the Broward County School Board has established a fee schedule for facility use. Without admitting defeat?
The School Board got their clock cleaned.
And they wasted $180,000 of the money that should have gone to educate their students because of a misguided pro-homosexual crusade.
I guess the next item on their agenda is to provide mosques in every school.

Boy Scouts sure are not the problem with this country. A lot of court cases against the Scouts by the homosexual groups have nothing to do with justice and everything to do with the attitude, "If we can't have access to your boys, we'll destroy your organization.".
The most disturbing thing to me is the "human rights" aspect. If you refuse to allow your children the "right" to freely associate with adult homosexuals, you are the one with mental problems.
Scouting has always been a threat to the marxist agenda. They got control of the Girl Scouts and guess what kind of diversity acceptance most of them are taught.

On the face of it it is absurd to claim that the school's policy, whatever it is, should extend to what goes on in the otherwise empty school building after hours.

Our local school district is now charging $35.00 an hour to groups which are not specifically school related. My daughter's Girl Scout troop would have had to pay $50.00 each meeting to use the facility. That would result in a charge of about $2.00 per meeting per girl! Luckily we were able to get meeting time at a local Catholic Parish Hall for free!
My son's Cub and now Boy Scout troop has always met at another Catholic Parish Hall for free and continues to do so!

And these are the people "educating" our kids---stupid and bigoted and cover-up artists besides. They should have to pay the $180,000 out of their own pockets.

Too bad the taxpayers will pick up the tab for this. The school board members should have been held responsible as individuals.

School Superintendent Frank Till claimed the Scouts' national policy invalidated the local Council's contract with the district on facility use, since that agreement forbids discrimination based on "sexual orientation.
This idiot should be fired for negligent misuse of taxpayer dollars . . . $190,000 . . . wasted on his incompetentence.
Where is the voters' (taxpayers') outrage? Another fine example of the absurdity from the Sheeples' Republik of Broward County.

The school board members should have been held responsible as individuals I'd suspect that they will if members are voted to the board as in my area are versus "appointed". I'm pretty darn happy as a Eagle Scout (5/71) to see these socialist's take it up the arse like the trash they try to promote through political correctness......
Stay Safe !
