Did anyone predict before Tuesday that Revelations would turn out after Tuseday to have predicted the NY attacks?

What a waste of a human mind.

Sorry, Revelationfan, I don't care if this is the end of times, and I don't want to hear about it. It merely distracts us from our duty to our country right now.
Okay, you think your duty to God comes first. You are a better Christian than I am.
For me, it's "Praise God and pass the ammo." And I think this other kind of talk undermines the morale of our country and our fighting troops.
We can win this thing and we don't need the Second Coming to do it.
Let's hold all that for when times are really bad. This is manageable. In the end of times, even good Christians lose their grip, and I've still got a grip on, so you'll just have to count on seeing Jesus in all His Glory later, not this year.

Just throw any credibility left onto the bonfire and funeral pyres, bub.

My copy of the Bible is wrapped in tin foil, so the verses don't mean quite the same thing when I read them.

If it's so damned clear, why didn't you tell us the day before it happened?

People that use tragedies such as this to advance twisted interpretations of
prophecies are beyond shame. Furthermore, WHY ARE ALL YOU REVELATION
NUTJOBS PATENTLY OBSESSED WITH ANTI-AMERICAN SENTIMENTS???!!!
"New York is Babylon"
"The U.S. is Babylon"
The Bible is not a fill in the blank prophecy manual.

Does this even merit a rebuttal? I doubt it, but here goes:
"Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen" (Rev 18:2)-- Our nation hasnt fallen-- indeed, we are as strong as we ever were. I havent seen us cowering in fear-- I see American patriotism revived like I have never seen in my nineteen short years on earth.
"And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more" (Rev 18:12). Didnt happen. Our economy hasnt tanked yet.
"And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee; And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." -- Rev 19:22-23. Nope. Didnt happen. The devestation isnt so bad that NY will forever be in darkness, nor is it so bad that people will stop marrying.
Do try to do a little better job of hermaneutics before shooting your mouth off.

Sorry Heb.11:6, but this isn't even close. The falling of Babylon prophesied in Revelation 17 and 18 is a total destruction economically and politically that causes the nations to mourn the loss of commerce for their goods.

5) The American Cival War
6) World War 1

10) The founding of Israel
11) The Korean War
12) The Vietnam War

You get my point ... its an affront to God to use the Book of Revelation to predict the future.

Heed the warning. God sent His Son to save us. You cannot save yourself--instead, you must trust Him.
If you seek Him earnestly, He will find you. This is statement is correct.
However we haven't gotten to Revelation 4:1 yet.

While listening to airline passengers tell about having to land for an unexplained reason, it reminded me of the "Left Behind" movie and books. They were fun to read --- but they are fiction.
Is it Revelation? Prophecies of Christ were only realized after the events. This changes nothing but our perspective.

Did you read Rev. 17&18? You need to take it a little more seriously.(not meant as a flame)
Amos 5:18-20
18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
