Sorry, Revelationfan, I don't care if this is the end of times, and I don't want to hear about it. It merely distracts us from our duty to our country right now.
Okay, you think your duty to God comes first. You are a better Christian than I am.
For me, it's "Praise God and pass the ammo." And I think this other kind of talk undermines the morale of our country and our fighting troops.
We can win this thing and we don't need the Second Coming to do it.
Let's hold all that for when times are really bad. This is manageable. In the end of times, even good Christians lose their grip, and I've still got a grip on, so you'll just have to count on seeing Jesus in all His Glory later, not this year.

Sorry, Revelationfan, I don't care if this is the end of times, and I don't want to hear about it. It merely distracts us from our duty to our country right now. We've already been distracted for eight years by a godless man in the White House. That's why our intelligence agencies were utterly oblivious to Osama bin Laden's plans, though they've been monitoring him at a cost of billions of dollars for years and he's been planning this for years.
And that's why our national defense infrastructure was unable to protect us, even though the jets were tracked off course by radar for ten minutes and it was the Pentagon itself that was attacked.
If you don't see a spiritual dimension to our complete lack of preparation, then you're like the man who insists on mopping up from the overflowing sink without first turning off the faucet. Look up, and see.
Alas, Babylon
