Although some RAT supporters may consider this a partisan attack being written for political purposes in this time of crisis, it is not. I've been all over Scumbag for nine years.
Eight years. Eight excruciatingly long years. Eight years of BJs with interns instead of doing the country's business. Eight years of covering crimes. Eight years of loathing the military, best exhibited by Somalia and and the intern under the desk while discussing life and death military matters with Cong. Sonny Callahan. Eight years of lies and obfuscation. Eight years of military neglect. Eight years of wagging the dog. Eight years of his thugs silencing those who threatened his power. Eight years of phony photo ops. Eight years of working for a peace prize rather than working to defend his country. Eight years of selling out to our enemies. Eight years of cigar games and sinks and blue thongs and phone sex and Oval Office assaults. Eight years of pretending to be a rock star with Hollywood pals.
William Jefferson Blythe Clinton, or as I like to simplify -- "Scumbag" -- has left ticking time bombs that will have to be faced by President Bush. Had the unthinkable happened, idiot Algore would have had to face them. Scumbag didn't care. It was always about him.
We have an FBI and CIA in shambles thanks to Scumbag's neglect. He used the FBI to thwart justice. We have a military that tries to use parts from one another airplane to keep another in the air. We have had an exodus of Naval aviators and officers who could no longer stand to serve under Scumbag.
We watched a phony make a cross for a photo op on a sacred beach at Normandy. We saw him put upright a flag on a grave left for him to conveniently find. We saw the remains of disgraced pal Larry Lawrence be removed from Arlington. We saw him not give a damn for 12 hours as Rangers were massacred in Mogadishu and could have been saved with armored support for which they pleaded.
His biggest single donor, Bernie Schwartz, should be sharing a cell with Scumbag for what they did with our nuclear secrets.
Yes, a rapist and a traitor celebrity led our country and a dumbed down sheeple didn't care as long as their stocks went up, they could abort their inconvenient babies, they could drink beer, they could smoke dope and snort crack and they could watch movies and sports.
The first job of a president, the job that takes precedence above all others, is to defend this country. We are seeing the results of Scumbag's miserable failure. This is going to be the legacy.
In your hatred of Clinton you miss the central point that enemies of the US just committed a heinous act against us. Your need to somehow blame Clinton for the WTC makes you seem like a partisan idiot. Do you blame all of the Republican Congress too?
At a time when it's necessary to decide for how our country must precede along come people like you with absolutely zero to offer. Your hatred of Clinton is stronger than your love of America. You must be very proud.
You seem to have gone off the deep end along with upland. This isn't about who's a better president. It's about the idiotic assertion that the WTC was attacked because of Clinton. This is without logic, partisan, and just plain stupid. Get a grip and try and focus on what's important.

I usually respect differing opinions from FReepers. In this case, however, challenging the love I have for my country makes me more than angry. Where are you? When the planes are up again I want to pay a visit and put my hands around your neck.
For anyone who paid attention for 8 years, Scumbag did not give a damn about the security of our nation. It has come home to roost. He used the FBI to help cover his own criminal activity. It is his patriotism that should be in question, not mine. I don't appreciate it.
I live in NY, among the rubble. I have a few friends still missing and scum like yourself talk about Clinton at a time like this.
If you wish to take this offline I'll let you know how you can find me but remember that if one of your hands touches me you will be minus one hand.
No, I didn't miss the main point. The main point is that the security of our nation has been compromised. I am disappointed that the current president has not closed the borders. Since the first WTC bombing, we have known of terrorist cells. What has been done about it? We've watched our secrets being given away, sold, and stolen. What has been done about it?
That's the main point. Our security is totally compromised. Bush better get busy and solve some of these problems.
My son in law in on an aircraft carrier right now. I am worried because there is a carrier killer missile given to the Chinese by the Russians. We knew about it for five years and have done nothing to develop a defense against it.
Of course I blame the murdering dirtbag terrorists. But I also look at how it could have happened. We have been asleep. Maybe Bush takes part of the blame for not doing anything to remove these terrorists since January. But for 8 long years I have watched the decimation of our military capability, the erosion or morale, and the complete indifference to our nation's security. We know who is to blame for that.
In retrospect, I should not have engaged in hyperbole and expressed my desire to put my hands around your neck. Your personal attack on me simply should have been ignored. I apologize and should have had the sense to just have not paid attention to you.
Try to think about this on something beyond a third grade level, bud. I know it's difficult, but just try.
If you get beat up and robbed, whose fault is it? Why, DUH (?!?!), it's the fault of the robbers. Thank you for figuring out the basics! Thank you, Mr. Sakic. A flipping genius you are ...
But if you discover that your police department has been busy driving away honest cops and promoting cops on the take, does that factor in?
If you discover that your mayor has been embezzling funds from the city, while simultaneously shutting off streetlights "because we can't pay the electric bills," so that you had to go out at night on a dark street that gave the robbers the ability to rob you and get away easily ... does that factor in?
Here, I'll put it on a level even you can understand: Bad boys do bad things. But if the teacher were watching the classroom instead of getting a BJ from one of the students in the back room, the bad boys would have a much harder time doing their bad things. Are you starting to get a clue? Nobody is "blaming Clinton instead of the perps". That you would come up with such a moronic statement demonstrates that you lack the intelligence to even discuss the situation.
And you doggone bet that Reagan bears some of the blame for the Marine barracks incident. As I recall, he publicly said so. He was a man. Clinton was, and is, a pig.
I seem to recall that The CIA under President Ronald Wilson Reagan trained Bin Laden back in the 1980's. Is he and the CIA to bear any responsibility for this?

"We need to keep this country together right now. We need to focus on this terrorism issue," Clinton said during a White House news conference. But while the president pushed for quick legislation, Republican lawmakers hardened their stance against some of the proposed anti-terrorism measures.
Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, emerged from the meeting and said, "These are very controversial provisions that the White House wants. Some they're not going to get." and this:

The bill, which would cost $1 billion over four years, also calls for "tagging" plastic explosives to better trace them. The bill calls for a study on tagging methods for other explosives such as fertilizer and black powder. Critics say the study provision is a concession to groups opposed to restrictions on explosive materials. The Republicans also dropped the additional wire-tap authority the Clinton administration wanted. U.S. Attorney general Janet Reno had asked for "multi-point" tapping of suspected terrorists, who may be using advanced technology to outpace authorities. and this:
http://www.cnn.com/US/9604/18/anti.terror.bill/index.html
The House voted, 293-133, to send the anti-terrorism bill to President Clinton, who has indicated that he will sign it after he returns from his overseas trip next week. The measure, which the Senate passed overwhelmingly Wednesday evening, is a watered-down version of the White House's proposal. The Clinton administration has been critical of the bill, calling it too weak. The original House bill, passed last month, had deleted many of the Senate's anti-terrorism provisions because of lawmakers' concerns about increasing federal law enforcement powers. Some of those provisions were restored in the compromise bill.
