This remains one of the most shocking things of my entire life.
In early November 2024, I submitted a light rewrite of some of the Communist Manifesto to a "right-wing" Christian Nationalist publication called American Reformer. It was obvious what it was; it just swapped out proletariat for "New Christian Right" and bourgeoisie for "classical liberals" and their "postwar consensus."
It was so obviously the Communist Manifesto that once it got published, one of their own readers spotted it and commented with proof almost immediately.
I didn't realize it had been published for 11 days, however, and that comment and the piece remained up the whole time. Not one of their esteemed editors though, "hmm, maybe we should quietly take this down...."
A few days later (December 3, 2024), I told the story, and the reaction was instant and shocking. More or less the entire Right turned viciously on me for a traitor, and I learned about the friend-enemy distinction firsthand.
Cerno[redacted] here was one of the first few out of the gate, as was Tim Pool, to defend a Christian Nationalist publication even though neither of them is Protestant or a Christian Nationalist. Cerno even said "Karl Marx was a great writer," which is absurd in all regards. Far more absurd things were said in Marx's defense, too.
American Reformer then kept the piece up (now in my name), claiming it's a "reasonable aggregation of some New Right thought." "Right-wing" influencers came out of the woodwork to defend Karl Marx, Marxism, Critical Theory, and Postmodernism for having "the right critiques of liberalism" but the "wrong solutions."
Meanwhile, I was attacked, vigorously, most of it as absurd as everything else. I was accused of never having understood Woke, of being an infiltrator and a "hoaxer" who can't be trusted, and subjected to all the old slanders of the Left, just now from the "Right." I received a lot of physical threats regarding if I dared "show my face" at TPUSA AmericaFest that year (I did, but I was a little paranoid and technically not allowed to speak). It was wild.
My star in the conservative movement--already on shaky ground for calling them "Woke Right" to begin with after they tried to cancel me a couple months earlier, precipitating the whole thing--fell almost immediately. By late December, the right-wing war against me escalated to the point of doxxing, shockingly wicked slander, and nearly complete excommunication, which is still mostly the situation to this day. Cerno[redacted] participated in quite a bit of that, really dirty-style, too.
I've never seen anything like it. The American "Right" heel-turned against me over this small exposé of a fringe pet publication (connected to a lot of operational money and players, as it happens), revealing its near-total capture, and it did so robustly defending KARL MARX and his critique of "liberalism."
I've led a life over the last decade or so filled with surprising turns and adventures, like the Grievance Studies Affair, but I have never seen anything like THIS.

Interesting that he does not show the article. I’d like to see what it says.
Does it call for a revolution against Capital?
Does it call for confiscation of the means of production?
Does it call for violent revolution?
Just be cause Karl Marx said something was bad does not mean what he criticized was good.
Moreover, Christians are not “on the right.”
American patriots are not “on the right.”
The two sides are “left wing” and “normal people.”
Trust NO ONE!
When you are dealing with people with deep ambitions unbridled by morality or ethics, and especially when fueled by ideology, you can take NOTHING at face value. To fulfill their ambitions and advance their ideology they will do anything. ANYTHING!
There is no deficiency of these kinds of people in the world, and they are very, very, aware of the trusting nature of moral people.
bump to the top
One of my favorite El Rush-Bo quotes has to do with “equality” and “fairness.”
“The world’s biggest problems is the unequal distribution of capitalism.”
He posted a link to it in the comments. Here it is:

And here are a couple of articles about the article:

Some people want to control their own life, others want to control the lives of others.
I don’t think “right” or “left” really mean much at this point. The important concept is Freedom — and some people just don’t want you to have any.
James is failing because he can’t take the time to establish how progressivism is not liberalism. That is, he refuses to take the time to do it.
The greatest triumph of progressive ideology was FDR’s theft of that word “liberal” in 1932.
“Right” means a ton when at this point when you do have people on “the right” who are as clear eyed as can be that their attacks on “liberalism” are not actually on modern progressivism but actually on what we would call “classical liberalism”. They do know enough to know the difference.
I genuinely hate that term, “Classical Liberalism”. Classical liberalism is in fact the only liberalism to exist.
Some of The New Right do not want us to be free anymore. They think we are too free and putting as top to that will put an end to transing kids, the homo agenda, put an end to white genocide/h1b/replacing whites, and other such things.
And they’ll even openly state as such. In the last five years I’ve never seen as many people as I see today who are proud to say on YouTube to hell with the founders, the founding fathers were wrong.
It is thoroughly disgusting. These people on the (new) right are disgusting people.
How do tehy differ, except in degree and speed?
A liberal is a progressive with patience.
A progressive is a socialist with patience.
A socialist is a Communist with patience.
(Unless you’re referring to classical liberalism, in whcih case we have a different disucssion.)

That describes religious fundamentalism of all stripes, including “Christian Nationalism” disguising itself as “normal” Christian faith.
Thank you. All Lindsay does is use some of Marx’s technique. The essay does not describe Marxism. It describes a counter revolution against Progressivism, and states that liberalism is an unbroken march from feudalism to today’s leftist corporate administrative state.
The only thing “Marxist” about the essay is using Marx’s technique of describing the contest as a “march of history”.
“I genuinely hate that term, “Classical Liberalism”. Classical liberalism is in fact the only liberalism to exist.”

“Classic Liberalism” of the type modern “conservatives” regularly rhapsodize about was perfectly fine with abominations like chattel slavery, child abuse in the name of “discipline,” spousal abuse in all its forms, and the concept that property is the highest goal and rightfully belongs to only white males.
If you can’t find it in yourself to extend our Lord’s grace and His command to “love one another” beyond political advantage or a severely stunted sense of human and divine “justice,” at least don’t use Christ as an accessory to your own sins.
Being “woke” meant being aware of secret /hidden racism (which usually meant it was made up for blacks to play a victim when there really wasn’t any racism)
Spare me the propaganda Bob. You’re smarter than this.
You know as well as I do that slavery was a remnant of the Kings of Old Europe and discredited mercantilism, it wasn’t invented by the Christian Enlightenment. It was not invented by the U.S. It was not invented by any of the early liberal philosophers such as Newton or Locke or Burlamaqui.
Adam Smith wrote about slavery too, disapprovingly. Slavery is not capitalism.
You people need to get curious about the history that the progressives stole from us.
Jefferson wrote a scathing clause about slavery and how the King wouldn’t allow them to get rid of it. Eleven of the thirteen colonies supported it, but they had a rule that any vote had to be unanimous, so the clause had to be stricken before two colonies killed the whole project.
Yes.
But we are supposed to chase our tails over a slavery which was a product of someone else;
Meanwhile blaming ourselves for someone else’s sins as if it were ours while ignoring that we invented abolitionism.
Meanwhile, not word one of aspersion was cast against progressivism in any way.
All because they stole our history from us leaving us incapable of defending ourselves - might as well accept the progressive line its the only line available to choose from right?
Let’s find bad things to say about progressives for a change. There is plenty to choose from.
