Local newspaper Le Populaire du Centre says 34-year-old Hodei Docampo Ciarra is accused of smashing the windows of the Limoges town hall before sneaking into the cellar. He reportedly had accomplices, though they have not been named.
Ciarra is a known criminal who is on a French terror watchlist. Unfortunately, the police couldn't watch him that closely. They were too busy letting the country burn down.
A "committed environmental activist" with a criminal record, Ciarra quickly celebrated Palestine after Hamas' terror attack on Israeli civilians on October 7, 2023. This was the profile picture he set just 13 days after the attack:

According to Breitbart, Ciarra was convicted for assaulting a cop.
Hodei was said to have appeared before a court near Limoges last year, accused of punching a police officer. The attack reportedly took place during an October 2024 protest against the construction of a wood fuel pellet factory in the region, with protesters challenging the project on the grounds that the construction would damage the local environment and that producing wood pellets requires cutting down trees.
Ciarra's father, a Basque separatist named Fernando Ciarra Ramirez, was found guilty this year for torching eight trucks belonging to a French power company and burning down a cell phone tower. He was given a suspended sentence, because of course.
It is stated the fires cut off 1.5 million French from television, radio, and cell phone connectivity for over a week.
Even before Ciarra's arrest, Mayor Guillaume Guérin of Limoges said the "far left" was responsible for the attack on the town hall.
[He] said they even arrived equipped with a 200 kilo (440lb) 'battering ram' ready for the assault. The mayor further said the arsonists had 'identified beforehand' the most vulnerable places in the building's cellars to light the fires.
