President Donald Trump warned Monday that Paris is on course to become a “Muslim city very soon,” blaming France’s escalating unrest on mass immigration and saying he had repeatedly urged French President Emmanuel Macron to close the country’s borders.
“Paris is going to be a Muslim city very soon, and that wasn’t the deal,” Trump told reporters at the White House as France grappled with days of violent riots, looting, and arson.
Trump said he had warned Macron about the consequences of his immigration policies years before the latest unrest.
“Emmanuel, he’s a friend of mine. I told him a long time ago, ‘You’re making a big mistake in France. You’re letting everybody from the world come in,’” Trump said.
The president recalled urging Macron to close France’s borders when they first met nearly a decade ago, contrasting the French leader’s approach with his own.
“We closed our borders. He didn’t. And you know what? His borders are a problem,” Trump said. “Emmanuel should have closed his borders a long time ago. I told him to do it.”
Trump also rejected the suggestion that the unrest stemmed primarily from education or economic grievances, insisting that immigration was responsible.
“What’s happening in France has to do with immigration, not schools, not anything,” Trump said. “It’s immigration.”
He went further, warning that the consequences could extend across Europe if governments failed to tighten immigration controls.
“If Europe doesn’t close its borders and bring the criminals out, like the people that are protesting, Europe is finished,” he said.

Agree, they had crossed the Rubicon, policy-wise, by 2005 closing out the solution of simply closing their borders and trying to integrate the 4% or so that were there. Now it’s 20%, and young, and mainly men. Perhaps the reason the rioting hasn’t stopped by now is that there isn’t enough fighting-capable French people remaining to actually put an end to it.
Has anyone told him about Dearborn? Why be France first?
They will be put on the terrorist watch list.
Is there a Martel to confront and destroy the Muslims at the gates?
I don’t think so.
Neither Martel nor a Joan d’Arc can save France from the Muslims this time around. The French allowed the Muslims through the gates without checking the trojan horse.

Although Islam is the 2nd most practiced religion in France, following Catholicism, the Muslim population of France is only 7%-8% of the population.
No one took it seriously about Hamtramck, MI and Dearborn.
First Muslim mayor of Dearborn had to reach across the aisle and show how moderate he was going to be, getting votes from long time residents.
Then the gloves came off. Office signs as at City Hall have Arab lettering with little English words underneath on the doors and hallway signs. One street was renamed from Warren (fought with George Washington) to Osama
Siblani. With a ceremony on TV.

The French “Muslim problem” is directly related to France’s North African colonies throughout the 19th and 20th Centuries. Most migrated from Tunis, Algiers, etc., to provide labor in France after WWII, when a large part of the white French population had been killed or migrated as a result of WWII.
Once there was a working population of Muslims in France proper, natural family expansion and, later, family migration became the norm.
These problems were created by France, long before the Iranian Islamic Revolution was even a consideration.
Years ago I visited Notre Dame and found Arab youth hanging around, trying to pick up girls. One of them actually waited inside the cathedral and hit on me.
Can you imagine if a Western guy walked into a mosque and tried to do that? He would get lynched.

Many studies have shown that the children of Muslim immigrants are, in general, more radical than their parents.
Many folks in the West assume that there will eventually be assimilation. But there will be no assimilation. This is not a problem that will fade with time. It will only get worse.

Marseille already is a Muslim city as is London. Nothing much new here. Italy closed its borders but maybe not soon enough.

That’s actually past the tipping point. Muslims have large families. Plus, see my post #17.
Dr. Peter Hammond did a study on this. When Muslims are less than 5% of a nation’s population, they are pleasant and peaceful neighbors. Smiles all around.
Things change at around 5%. Then the Muslims start to demand more and more. Not ask, but demand.
