A “serious incident” at a military base in Alberta on Saturday caused a major fire and left people dead and injured, Canadian officials said.
“I’m saddened to share that there have been both fatalities and injuries as a result of an incident on the base,” Defense Minister David McGuinty said at a news conference.
Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada said in an earlier statement that a “serious incident creating a major fire” had occurred. In a post on social media, Danielle Smith, the premier of Alberta, described it as a “significant and tragic fire” that was “affecting many of our brave military personnel.”

Canada may be hiding something. No reason to hide an accident. “Incident” could mean human-caused violence. Canada has been vigorously welcoming savages from all over. I hope I am wrong.

I looked over a few sites and the only thing I can find it was caused by an explosion. The fire was blown over the fence into civilian land and they are still trying to get it under control.

I really don’t like innuendo, euphemisms, coy remarks and vague words like “incident” in the news.
It annoyingly teases and is actually insulting to our intelligence.
Sounds like somebody screwed up... A live fire exercise by a gas line, or gas well doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Then again... There is a lot of gas and oil in Alberta... Maybe it was an abandoned well that had been forgotten.

Moslems getting the Jihad up to steam? Italy are in flames. England will likely soon be burning. Church burnings in the USofA are common enough the rarely make the news. Will the West defend itself as it did in the Crusades and in the 1500s and 1600s? as Jefferson did on the Barbary Coast?
That and the jihads making up a significant part of the British military and probably the same in all the other European countries, maybe calling out the army to deal with the mayhem may useless to quell the insurgencies.
