Eric Lewis, the man charged with killing Philadelphia Officer Shane Seiber and wounding his partner in an ambush attack on Saturday, told investigators he opened fire because the officers were white.

The site of the shootings was about 2500 feet from the Malcolm X memorial, which takes up one block on 52nd street, right next to where the MOVE bombing and fire took place, in May of 1985.
