James Talarico is in one of the most competitive Senate races this cycle, and he disappeared from the campaign trail for almost two weeks. He supposedly reappeared this weekend to poke at Republican Texas AG Ken Paxton over debates, and his team showed him attending a Kacey Musgraves concert.
Talarico is once again being hailed as the Democrats’ best hope to win statewide in the Lone Star State, but his absence drew attention, especially since it looked like he checked into a mental health clinic. That’s not what his campaign said; it said he was sidelined with the flu. This phone call seems to confirm he was a patient at the Lindner Center of Hope near Cincinnati, Ohio. Nick Sortor had the clip:
We’ll keep you updated. The Paxton campaign has trolled Talarico, releasing a press release asking for proof of life.
UPDATE: The Talarico campaign responds with a simple 'this is a lie' statement.

Taqiyya.
The horrors of living in the dystopian hell-scape of Trump’s America got to him, and he needed professional help to remember what was his purpose in life.
It was a big deal when Thomas Eagleton had this sort of trouble in 1972. But I guess by now a lot of people expect Democrats to be crazy.
I feel more and more like a resident of George Orwell’s 1984.
Turn on Fox News...Talarico story never existed. Mine blowing up a major oil tanker and endangering passage of any vessels in the Strait of Hormuz....never happened and Bessent even touts figures of more and more oil passing through the Strait.
The Paxton campaign could make a cleverly crafted commercial that avoids slander while raising questions:’If Talerico can’t handle an election campaign, how can you expect him to handle his responsibilities as a Senator?”
We will see if Texas is full of enough muslims and Hindus to elect a mentally disturbed liberal or if its still has enough Texans.
Too negative, too in-your-face.
I would go with something positive. "Ken Paxton. Responsible, Stable, Sane Leadership for Texas."
I predict he’ll be the first of many libtards in this situation. They’re not made of strong stuff, to say the least.
He went to teach and educate them on mental issues, beings that he is more sane than any of them.
Audio sounds real.
Im pretty sure a guy who thinks there are 6 genders and “transgender” biological males should have access to abortion services, is perfectly sane.
What legitimate medical institution is going to give out patient information to ANYONE calling? I don’t believe this story based on information we’ve been given.
Just what we need an institutionalized insane communist democrat serving as senator. Our great state of Texas can do better than that.
I predicted this at the time
Talarico has bizarre views on a variety of things from Christianity, to homosexuality, transgenderism, the meaning of citizenship, Jews, Islam, history, etc....
There’s being discerning, and “thinking out of the box,” and then there’s holding bizarre ideological and spiritual beliefs, and trying comport those bizarre beliefs with reality - and the mental stress that causes.
He’s definitely the latter.
“ The Paxton campaign could make a cleverly crafted commercial…”
The Paxton campaign is actually so lame it’s unbelievable. They’ve been MIA for longer than 12 days
It is really really bad
Someone in the IRS leaked Donald Trump's private tax returns for partisan reasons, so it happens.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that HIPPA is any more or less of an incentive to follow the law when the stakes are this high.

I think Paxton is planning to vote for Talarico.
Matt Vespa is generally considered positively, IMO. I don’t think he would say this unless he had a good grasp of its veracity.
But as always, good to watch and see.
That’s certainly generic enough.
Not handling an election campaign can be as simple as his 2 week disappearance.
Love it.
