Amy Acton, the Ohio version of Fauci, has struggled to gain traction and a widely circulated fair clip of her seemed to be showing a Howard Dean style meltdown. And then the media was suddenly ablaze with headlines claiming that an “armed attacker” had “lunged” at Acton and been taken down with multiple injuries.
Both Acton’s campaign and the media pushed this hoax.

“He appeared in that tent wanting to ask questions,” Mahoning County Prosecutor Lynn Maro told the judge during the hearing. “You should know law enforcement gained consent for them to have complete access to his cellphone so they found no threats.”
Maro said after the hearing that the video Havas took shows him “walking into the tent recording and moving forward, calling out her name.” Acton, a physician, is the state’s former public health director.
“All he got out was Dr. Acton, Dr. Acton,” Maro said.
Former U.S. Rep. John Boccieri, a Democratic candidate for the Ohio House, said he was near Acton in the tent when Havas “came in very aggressively” with his cellphone in the air screaming Acton’s name while rushing toward her. He said officers quickly “sprang into action,” grabbed the man and pulled him out of the tent.
The media is still trying to distort this, but here’s the prosecutor’s own words. ...
There was no assault here. Just a likely overreaction when an armed man shouting Acton’s name and brandishing an object moved towards her, bumped into some old people and the security people stepped in. The rest was probably chaos. But there was no assault, just an opportunistic lie.

Trump got shot in the head by a nut with a rifle. The Democrats said the incident was fake.
But this? Democrats really “believe” this one.
