Patrick Havas has been identified as the man arrested after an armed incident involving Ohio Democratic governor candidate Amy Acton at the Canfield Fair on Sunday, September 6.
According to WFMJ, Havas entered the Mahoning County Democratic Party tent and pushed toward the front, where Acton was visiting. Two people were knocked over during the incident.
Officials said Havas had two guns on him. Acton was not injured, and Havas was taken to the Mahoning County Jail. Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene told WFMJ that Havas is expected to face two assault counts and one disorderly conduct charge.

"While attending the Canfield Fair, an armed individual lunged at Dr. Acton, injuring multiple people. Dr. Acton and Eric are grateful for the swift and decisive action of law enforcement and are praying for the recovery of those injured. This kind of violence has no place in Ohio. Dr. Acton will always stand up to the chaos, hate and vitriol that pits us against one another," said Addie Bullock, communications director for the Acton campaign.
The Mahoning County Democratic Party also confirmed that a person was arrested after weapons were found and volunteers were knocked to the ground.

Patrick Havas charges and investigation Sheriff Jerry Greene told WFMJ that Havas is expected to be charged with two counts of assault and one count of disorderly conduct. The report also said two guns were found on him.
The investigation is continuing, and officials have not publicly given a motive for the incident. The available reports also do not establish a political reason for Havas' actions.
Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign condemned the incident. Connie Luck, his communications director, said:
