2. second amendment and semi-automatic weapons

They need to get this right once and for all.

“They need to get this right once and for all.”

Yeah, or trigger CWII if liberal states try to go for total confiscation.

I think this congress critter made a good point that if Trump can bulldoze the East wing of the White House, what stops him for bulldozing the entire White House if he feels like it?

They will if they think they can.

That’s not a good point. It’s stupid and maybe you are too if you think it was a good point.

Harry Truman had the Whitehouse literally gutted and essentially rebuilt from the inside out.

It needed to be done at that time.

Of course it’s a good point. If Trump can do anything he wants to the WH, there’s no reason to think some future Dem president won’t do the same. It’s a bad precedent.

Nonsense. The East Wing was a shoddy addition, not the White House. This addition will be much better. Of course, no surprise you side against PDJT. You’re sure no Bob Wills.

And you realize you are siding with Jamie Ratskin, one of the biggest TDS scumbags in Congress.

I can’t believe we are a month away from the start of a new SCOTUS term. It seems we just finished up the last one a few days ago.

Maybe I’ll start threads for the oral hearings on the cases most likely to be of interest to Freepers.

I was just about to ping you to this, CFW.

I thought SCOTUS was out for summer months? Here we are in September now. The Supreme Clerks have already issued a couple emergency rulings.

Thank you, Engraved, for posting this.

“2. second amendment and semi-automatic weapons” ... They need to get this right once and for all.

Agreed. And the same can certainly be said for this one:

4. transgender procedures on children vs. parental rights

I'm forced by my early civics lessons and common sense to agree.

To circumvent torture, or to circumvent prohibitions on torture? This is about rendition to Israel, isn’t it?

In “1984”, Orwell said that the people wouldn’t revolt because they wouldn’t look up from their screens long enough to notice what was going on - he probably nailed it even though the TV was the predominant screen and cell phones weren’t in everyone’s hands.

How is it that one who espouses communist values should be allowed to run for a U.S. office? Can’t be a communist & an American citizen at the same time can you?
