MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) -- Detectives from the Michigan State Police worked through the night processing three active crime scenes following the shooting deaths of six individuals, including the suspect discovered in Missaukee County Friday.
Investigators said they are continuing to work to find a possible motive for the shootings and have identified the five victims by age and gender but have yet to find a connection between them.
Michigan State police said at 11:40 a.m. on Friday, troopers were dispatched to a home on South LaChance Road in Lake Township for a report of a person who had been shot.
Police said they identified this person as a 13-year-old girl whom they had transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The 13-year-old remains hospitalized, but police said she is in stable condition.
The three people found dead at the South LaChance Road address, police identified as a 45-year-old man, a 40-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy.
According to police, they identified the person found at the second, separate home in Missaukee County as a 53-year-old man.
The individual located in the wooded area near Whitlock Lake, alongside the suspect, 39-year-old Chad Hickman, has been identified by police as a 29-year-old woman, police said.
Police said the investigation remains ongoing.

It is considered a northern rural area, also the counties in the area are for people with second homes, been through that area countless times over the decades. Pretty quiet area.

Of course I saw it, a mass murder by a nutcase is not IMHO a place for sarcasm, but glad that he killed himself.
It all depends upon who thenm refers to. Apparently it involves another transggender, which mayy qualify as another trending trhen. Only this transgender is a woman who does look like a man.

Did they also get the sex of the victims? Certainly, knowing the sex is far more important than knowing the gender, right?
To me that reads as two different people — 1) a female victim and 2) a shooter named Chad Hickman.
If your point is that it’s kinda confusingly written, then yeah I’d agree.
Gonna need a biologist to figure out all this.

They are talking about the individual located in the woods located with the suspect. 39 year old ChadHickman, has been identified as a 29 tear old woman
He was initially identified as being Chad Hickman a 39 year old man, but the police have identified is really being a 29 year old woman.
There is no and in the original sentence, that the woman is a third person involved in not identified, nor dfo they identify that woman by name by name, thus the sentence is referring to the person they found alongside the suspect who was origially idetified as a 39 year old man named Chad Michman, has been identified as a 29 year old woman by the police.
One would assume that identification came durring the booking process.
Now it could be a very poorly written sentence, but as written it is saying, without saying, that Chad is really a woman, not a man as first identified as being who was found with the 53 year old male suspect.
