Friday night's episode of The Five gave viewers a masterclass in what happens when a liberal co-host way out of her depth tries to lecture the panel and ends up lecturing herself into a corner. Jessica Tarlova set out to catch her conservative colleagues in a supposed contradiction on socialism. She walked out of the segment looking like a fool in the process.
Mrs. Tarlova opened by accusing Greg Gutfeld and Jesse Watters of hypocrisy over the Trump administration's equity stakes in companies such as U.S. Steel and Intel, arguing that conservatives have been throwing around the word "socialist" for years without meaning it. "You've been calling every Democratic candidate for over a decade a socialist or communist," Mrs. Tarlova said.
Mr. Gutfeld wasn't having it. "The socialists are calling themselves socialists! We didn't name them the DSA," he said.
That’s the big problem with Tarlov’s argument. She thinks Republicans are just tossing the label “socialist” out there as if it were an overused pejorative, but the truth is the socialist insurgency that’s going on right now in the party is happening with candidates who are openly calling themselves socialists and are associated with the Democratic Socialists of America.

I can’t figure out why Tarlov is on fox. Her screech sends me across the room!
She is humiliated every time she shows up on “The Five.” She’s a Russian cow like the cows on Da View. That’s the show she should be vomiting on with the rest of the herd. I don’t like Russians. Tarlov sounds Russian to me.
They have to have a “token liberal” on the panel or it just doesn’t work. I despise her opinions but I do give her credit for exposing herself to the daily azkicken.
You’d think she’d get sick and tired of being proven wrong all the 5ime but liberals have to sense of shame or humility. Embarrassment is not in their vocabulary because even when all the facts prove them wrong, they STILL believe that you and your facts are wrong .
She has a poll that shows Trump is 125% underwater.
To send you across the room! Otherwise, it would be a boring show and few would watch it. She serves a purpose. A punching bag.

Have a liberal cousin who is constantly bad-mouthing both the republican party and Christianity, but when someone presents facts that prove her claims and accusations wrong, her canned reply is “I’m not interested in your alternative opinions” we try to point out that facts are NOT opinions, but there is simply no getting through to her.
Tarlova gets paid lots of money to get humiliated every day on this show. It’s not a problem for her.
Thats why Harold Ford works so well on The Five. He knows what the gig is and plays the role well...he gives some pushback, but really can’t take those extreme left positions. Perhaps one can say Harlold is closer to those democrats of old, like at JFk or more like Clinton...
And if the name is Slavic, it should be Tarlova. Once I began taking CrossFit, I began to understand further surnames are masculine and feminine in many cases, and you have to correctly gender the person (-son, -dottir in Nordic nations, the -a in Slavic names).
Democrats call everyone a "Nazi".
Democrats call themselves "Socialist"
Democrats accuse Republicans of name-calling.
Make it make sense.
I got news for her, they are and have been socialist for decades now. They are commies and throw the socialist label around as to not look like they are commies. THEY ARE commies. Man-damn-ney, CPA or whatever her initials are, are solid commies. Communism IS and will be the hallmark of the Commie Dimocratic Party for years. With all the young commies coming along, from dropouts to worthless degrees college grads with no job, they will go with the commies.

I tune out when Jessica is there, but I quite like Harold Ford who is quite sensible. I’d love to have dinner with him...with Jessica serving. ;-)
Harold is a more solid guess than this rag.
Remember “Nazi” is short for National Socialist Workers Party. They are the socialists and Communists knowing the power of words.
