US President Donald Trump said the United States may begin striking Iran's power plants and bridges due to the Islamic regime “tapping the United States along” in talks, according to an interview with Fox News's Trey Yingst on Wednesday.
"I may keep going," Trump told Fox. "They had a chance to sign a deal and survive."
He added that little progress has been made in negotiations between the two countries.
Earlier on Wednesday, Trump implied that he would take action against Iran for taking too long on a peace deal.
"The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!!" wrote Trump in a Truth Social post. "They've taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!!!"
US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Tuesday that the US launched strikes against Iran in response to the downing of a US Army Apache helicopter, targeting Iranian air defense, ground control stations, and surveillance radar sites near the Strait of Hormuz.
CENTCOM described the strikes as "self-defense" and "a proportional response to unjustified Iranian aggression."
Trump: Rescue of Apache pilots a 'miracle'
The downed Apache pilots were rescued by a US military unmanned vehicle, with Trump describing the operation as a "miracle."
Trump told Fox that an Iranian drone had hit the low-flying helicopter without exploding, with the pilots managing to safely bring the aircraft down while the drone was still lodged inside the fuselage.
"It was on fire, it was hot," Trump said of the conditions the pilots faced during the incident.
Trump added that the US destroyed over half of what Iran has attempted to reconstitute amid the ceasefire.

I do fully support trump and can appreciate any leader’s desire to not destroy a civilization so radically by removing the modern infrastructure relied on to survive. The weight consequences of taking the responsibility for such an action which will result in LARGE innocent deaths must tear at his soul.
That being said it does seem time is up and maybe even he has waited a bit longer than he should, IRAN has shown no lessoning of their recalcitrance.

The best part of the plan was flipping Venezuela. Now, we control more oil than any other country in the world.
We control almost all the production of oil in the western hemisphere.
Next we need to take over Nigeria, Libya and then drill off of Israel.
A successful revolution against Islam in Iran could spread to the other Islamic regimes. Since God saved Trump perhaps this is His plan to finally end this vile mind plague that has done evil in His name for 14 centuries.

A good plan. The world is watching. We attacked, hoping that citizens would rise up and retake control of their nation. Two problems with that (at least): 1) Those in control have shown us that they have no qualms slaughtering tens of thousands of citizens in the streets, and 2) virtually none of the people living there now have any recollection of living under anything other than the Ayatollah’s regime. The men in charge will torture and kill anyone involved in an uprising. This extends to family, regardless of age and sex. Joining the Resistance means much more than heroically risking one’s own life. It could mean witnessing your entire family being burned alive in a cage. That’s the kind of evil we’re playing with. The two alternatives at this point are to either run, tail between our legs, or occupy and transform the country. The former would humiliate our nation and ensure Republican failures here at home for years to come. The latter would require sending our soldiers to war in numbers far, far greater than we’ve seen in decades and accepting that tens of thousands of them will not come home. What a mess.
We need to drill off of Santa Barbara. Lots of perfectly good oil just out to sea a ways.
I hear ya.
Eventually, though, a higher priority is the America First agenda of not having a nuke go off on Manhattan. A real possibility.
So, timing matters. But something has to give at some point.
