US President Donald Trump on Wednesday warned that Iran will need to "pay the price" for dragging out negotiations on a nuclear deal that would end the war.
"Iran’s Military is a complete and total mess," Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. "Much of it, like their Navy and Air Force, doesn’t even exist anymore - They have been completely defeated. Iran is all talk and no action. The Bully of the Middle East is DEAD!!!"
He added, "They’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them, now they will have to pay the price!!!"
At the same time, the President told Fox News that he is getting close to ordering strikes against Iranian power plants and bridges, saying the regime is "tapping the US along" in the negotiations.
Asked about a possible response to the Iranian missile fire against US bases in the region, Trump said he "may keep going."
"They had a chance to sign a deal and survive," the President said.

Here we go ... Trump should have just eliminated the problem from the start.
I think Trump is naive. Iran will never settle as long as those in charge hold onto their power. That war needs to be all about regime change.
Whatever
Corrected version:
"He added, "I’ve taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have …".
Perhaps Trump is busy finding the coordinates of the gay ayatolla during the ceasefire.
How do you negotiate with anyone when the starting point is your death?
Serious diplomatic negotiations take time, not just days or weeks. Unfortunately we have not engaged in any serious negotiations, we haven’t used th best and seasoned diplomats to talk. We have relied and two people with no experience at all, Witkoff and Kushner.
So until we decide we want to have serious talks with the Russians and the Iranians we will stay at this stalemate.
So what happens in a few short weeks when the SPR and other resources are gone and no more market manipulation of the markets?
Stevie Wonder could see that they want to drag this out as long as they possibly can.
Time to open the world’s largest glass parking lot in Theyran.
The sad part is that he’ll be talking about a deal being just around the corner again in a couple of days. Iran will never come to a final deal. They will keep negotiating forever. And Trump will keep thinking that he can come to a final, definitive deal with Iran. And this will drag on through the midterm elections and finally die a painful death where Trump will claim that he has some type of deal that is a “win” for the US and walk away.
“Please Donald. Enough with the hyperbole. Iran is taking out American multi-million dollar
attack helicopters with nothing more than a jon boat, Ching-Chong outboards, and drones
shipped in from Ali Express. Not winning.”
Naw, use some of that equipment Donald. Use it to destroy all of the bridges and roads leading out of Iran except to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Destroy the power, Destroy the water, Destroy the food, Destroy the oil, Destroy the cities, Drive everything to East. Use lots of Drones, they are cheap and can easily hit these soft targets. Let the Iranians reap the rewards of the Drone wars...
Even when they finally agree to a deal, they will just ignore it—waiting for the democrats to get back in power.
He is The President. You are nothingness with no qualification to make a judgment on processing the war
President Trump has already done to Iran more than what 6 other presidents have not, including Reagan! I’m still inclined to be optimistic about this.
Rigbt on time with DNC talking points. So predictable.
Consider the source...
Why would Iran trust is when we have betrayed Trust at every turn. We have assassinated their negotiation teams and their leadership. So why sit down and talk when every time we talk about peace we turn around and attack them.
When we wan’t to get serious they will respond.
