DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The U.S. military launched airstrikes and Iran retaliated Wednesday following the crash of an Army helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz that U.S. President Donald Trump blamed on the Islamic Republic.
Iran launched attacks in Bahrain and Kuwait, which both sounded alerts and fired air defenses in response. Iran also said it targeted an air base in Jordan hosting U.S. forces, which was not immediately acknowledged either by American or Jordanian officials.

Trump is a lot smarter than you give him credit for.
The trick is to get some kind of deal that gets the price of gas back down. Trump is caught in the middle of two enemies, Iran and Democrats. If he can't come up with a deal that insures Democrats lose in November the Democrats will make sure the war is lost after they come back to power.
He already is trying to find that sweet spot that ensures the people of Iran win their revolution. Too much force and they end up hating Trump . Too little and the regime just murders them again . Its a tough balancing act and I would not trust it to anyone else but Trump.
