Trump said to yell at Netanyahu: ‘You’re f**king crazy. You’d be in prison if not for me’
Times of Israel ^ | 2 June 2026 | Jacob Magid

US President Donald Trump reportedly fumed at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a Monday call, calling the premier “fucking crazy” and telling him that everyone “hates Israel” as he demanded Israel agree to a ceasefire with the Hezbollah terror group.

Axios’s Barak Ravid cited a US official who summarized Trump’s message to Netanyahu as follows: “You’re fucking crazy. You’d be in prison if it weren’t for me. I’m saving your ass. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this.”

A second source briefed on the call told the outlet that the US president was “pissed” at the prime minister over his ostensible plans for major strikes at Hezbollah targets in Beirut, and at one point yelled at Netanyahu: “What the fuck are you doing?”

Corroborating this story (Trump himself): https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/trump-confirms-he-called-netanyahu-crazy-phone-call-2026-06-03/

I get why Netanyahu has the position he does albeit even the attacks on Israel 7 October were largely provoked (things are seldom so simple or black and white as people want to pretend they are).

But I believe this is a case where Trump with Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, public support eroding in the US and Europe for Israel, there is a "bigger picture" and while Israel is totally fine shooting back if Iran hits them with missiles (as a few days ago), like with Gaza and taking that to far, their actions in Lebanon of late have a negative reverb.

Israel has us as their only true life line. And even with us, they can't depend on us entirely when you have a Democrat (changing demographics have made them pander to the Muslim and Arab vote in the US) in office.

Israel is the only true liberal (classic sense) society, republic and democratic style government in that region, period. All those people talking shit about Israel wouldn't last very long or be happy if they one morning were to wake up living in ANY of Israel's neighboring countries, but Israel would be like waking up in the 51st state. Israel is basically doing our dirty work, I get that too. They are fighting the same people who want to hurt (most Westerners and Christians) us too and they are merely the tip of the spear. So I do not mean to bash them which has become all to popular.

But, you have to balance things.

Israel has lost the PR war, largely because of Gaza and pushing in Lebanon hard now isn't the best move...

We today have enormous control over the media (like in the former Soviet Union because of the digital age we live in) and we can influence public opinion that way (if the government is all on the same sheet of music). The latest incursion by Israel into Lebanon went further than they ever did and it has hardly any MSM coverage. Google (an NSA creation), our MSM, etc. are toeing the line. But I hardly think that is what you see and hear if in Qatar or Pakistan. Can we keep this on a simmer at least in the US and Europe (where we have dominance in the information domain)? Can we keep this from causing an uproar in the West? We shall see.

But nonetheless, Israel needs to take a big picture and long term approach to this which considers what is happening to their support in the US and Europe, how this impacts our allies in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar), finally how this affects the negotiations and conflict with Iran.

Netanyahu represents the Israeli's and he's acting in their best interests. That's all great. I get they were attacked 7 October and the other side keeps hitting them... But it's not in Israel's best interest to lose US public support because the whores we have in Congress don't care if they are sliding into bed with satan himself. Once the public goes, so does our government. Our government will turn coat on its own military and war efforts if public support goes sour, see Vietnam, Iraq 2003, as examples. Does Netanyahu really think the US will stand by Israel any more than they will to their own forces and causes?

Netanyahu needs to calm down.

Much of the Israeli public blames October 7th on Netanyahu...and continue to demand an independent state commission of inquiry into the security failures. But they support him because there’s no alternative in the chaos — by design.

And the time constraint (Trump being in office) is why Israel’s govt is doing as much damage as possible while they can...before America’s elections and before their own.

The IDF also has a manpower issue and well, it’s either go big or go home with the pounding bombs (and rumored white phosphorous? terrible if true...) or escalate enough so that U.S. troops eventually pick up the slack, let’s be real.

Horrifying from every angle. Prayers up.

If someone is shooting at me then I will shoot back.
Israel has hundreds of enemy rockets fired into their country every week for years.

Ravid is used by WH - a dutiful transmitter of whatever line they want out there. this is last week’s mashed potatoes, and yesterday he passed on quotes making it seem that DJT had Bibi under his thumb. yeah, sure. fast forward today: Bibi does what Bibi needs to to protect Israel.

Pardon my nutty idea. But I think this brouhaha is political theater. Trying to make Israel and Trump all at odds with each other. I am sure we have all targets id’d for dismantling the current government of Iran.
Israel bombed the airport. Message: If you try to flee...we’ll knock you out of the sky.
Bomb a petroleum processing plant. Message: You won’t be able to make gasoline, diesel. Your troops will be unable to maneuver. Will be sitting ducks.
From what I have read, Iran is stepping up arrests of those “collaborating” with the enemy Message: the iranians feel the “civilian uprising” noose tightening around their neck.
Iran bombed Kurd positions. Message: Iran knows the Kurds are gonna take over undefended parts of Iran
The constant vacillations of Trump policies is meant to keep the Iranian “government” guessing as what their survival strategy has to be, and who will make their decisions.
Just sayin’. I could be wrong...

There may have been security failures over October 7. However, the security failures did not murder innocents.

The innocents were murdered by filthy inbred cousin marrying stone age birth defect mudslums.

Thr main reason Trump is desperate for Netanyahu to receive a pardon is because he knows killing and bombing everything in sight is the only thing keeping Bibi’s old ass out of prison

I’m a huge fan of Israel and Bibi...he takes no shit from anyone and hit back 10 times harder when hit. We should be going the same thing in Iran.

Israel has to be the one to hit Iran. Trump’s hands are tied by our useless congress-critters refusing to give him war powers.

Red6: "I get why Netanyahu has the position he does albeit even the attacks on Israel 7 October were largely provoked (things are seldom so simple or black and white as people want to pretend they are)."

Those attacks were only "provoked" in the sense that:

  1. Israel "provokes" Islamists by existing, period.

  2. October 7 was "provoked" in the same sense that historically, weakness provokes attacks -- specifically:
    • America's weakness in Afghanistan in 2021,
    • US weak responses to Russia's invasion of Ukraine in 2022,
    • Signaled the West was in retreat and unable to defend its interests.

  3. Israel itself appeared weak and overconfident.

  4. So, Islamism was on offense.
Further facts include:
  1. Hamas planning & preparations began in 2014 and were completed in 2022.

  2. Major tunnel construction began in 2007 and by 2023 had reached nearly 400 miles underground, with ~6,000 entry shafts.

  3. Finally, the date of October 7, 2023, was chosen for its historical and symbolic significance as a Jewish holiday.
None of this is "provoked".
All is years of geostrategic planning based on Hamas' core mission from the date of its founding.

If you've read propaganda telling you otherwise, the real question is: why do you read it, and even more, why chose to believe it?

Netanyahu is not killing and bombing everything in sight. They are far more restrained than they probably should be.

Good summation of this current mess, here’s the dilemma: Reagan said, “you can’t negotiate with terrorists” and many of us were around in those days and yet many if not most want some sort of truce. Problem is that these barbaric 7th century animals have no understanding of negotiation, they must be destroyed.

Another thing that is beyond reason is the ‘mid-terms’ that are referred to in every article especially by the MSM. If the GOPe fails this fall it is because they failed America and earned it, their only achievement was the BBB. Trump is not on the ballot but the MSM is really playing it up.
